Bhutan cultural tour starts with a scenic flight from Kathmandu to Thimpu the capital city of Bhutan. After we reach to Bhutan we start our exploration by visiting some of the classic temples and monasteries around. Visit the shiny market place, ancient palace and much more interesting facts around. Outline Itinerary
Day 1: Fly from Kathmandu to Paro (2,195 m).
Day 2: Hike to Takstang monastery.
Day 3: Drive Paro to Thimpu (2,320 m).~ 1.5 hours, 51 km
Day 4: Drive from Thimpu to Wagduephodrang (1,320 m).~ 2 hours, 72 km
Day 5: Drive from Wagduephodrang to Bumthang (2,800 m) via Trongsa (2,170 m).~ 7 hours, 202 km
Day 6: Exploration and acclimatization day at Bumthang (2,600 m).
Day 7: Trek from Bumthang to Ngang Lhakhang(2,850 m).
Day 08: Trek from Ngang Lhakhang to Ugyenchholing (3,100 m).
Day 09: Trek from Ugyenchholing to Mebartsho and back to Bumthang (2,800 m).
Day 10: Drive from Bumthang to Paro (2,195 m).
Day 11: Final Departure.

Meals:
When you travel to the new place for your holiday, food is most concern part of travel. While, traveling with Yarsa treks, you can experience the delightful cuisine of typical food, continental food, Italian food, Chinese food and different international cuisine. You will be suggested by your guide for good food during your trip. During the trek do not order many dishes and waste food, they have to cater more trekkers before they run off stuck. It is very hard and takes week or more for caravan and porter to brings the food in these places. You will take lunch in route side, breakfast and dinner will arrange in the same lodge/Tea house.
Drinking Water:
During the trek you can get the bottled water but it is hard to dispose plastic and it will be the big problem for environment. We will provide purified mineral water during trek. In tea house you can get bottle water and mineral water in additional cost. It will better to drink mineral water rather than bottled water.
Accommodations:
We provide you best touristic hotel with best location. During the trek tea house is main accommodation for trekkers. A tea house is combination of lodge and restaurant. In the tea house lodge are fairly basic, some tea house you can get separate room but in the high altitude rooms are spare with two beds with blanket and little additional furniture. There will be large dining room where you can get the warm by Bukhara stove. In the tea house there will be the solar electricity but these days most of the tea houses have electricity for charge Camera, Mobile phones and other small appliances.
Things to take:
This is very active trip we can’t stay in same place. You can take very light and necessary things. You will get porter he will carry 30 kg it means 2 trekkers=1 porter. Porters are allowed to carry 30 kg of your stuff. Porter will carry your necessary stuff in duffel bag.

Health & Fitness:
These treks are some of moderate and some of strenuous, passionate trekkers should have ability to walk for 4-7 hours a day. Trekking to the high altitude is more challenging than the low altitude. To complete the trip we must have good health, average physical fitness, passionate, confidence, determination and positive attitude. If you have past hiking experience or exercising habits it will be the better for your trek. If you have pre-existing health problem such as lung, heart and other diseases it is better to consult with your doctor or inform Yarsa treks before booking the trip.
Suitable Time to Trek:
For Trekking to the high altitude we should concern about the weather condition. Autumn (Sept-Nov) and spring (March-May) is the best season for trekking in Himalayas. Trekking in summer and Monsoon (June-Aug) is affected by rain. You can also trek in winter but tempters could be most harsh for most trekkers.

Important notes:
If you’re confused to pack up your necessary things just see in the check list tab. Bring light and necessary things. You will need medium size bag to carry your daily usable stuff. The weather is subject to change in high altitude so layered clothing is recommended throughout the trek.

Day 1: Fly from Kathmandu to Paro.
Today we fly from Kathmandu international airport all the way to Paro. Upon your arrival we assist you from international airport to our hotel. Explore the local sightseeing around and rest overnight.
Day 2: Hike to Takstang monastery.
Today early morning hike from Paro to Takstang Monastery. Taktsang Monastery (3120 m) is also known as Tigers Den. Explore the religious and natural sightseeing around and rest overnight.
Day 3: Drive Paro to Thimpu (2320 m).~ 1.5 hours, 51 km
Today we drive for 2hours all the way to Thimpu the capital city of Bhutan. Visit the Memorial chorten built in the memory of the late King Jigme Dorji Wangchuck, 15 century Changangkha monastery, Motithang mini zoo to see the rare "Takin" national animal of Bhutan and drive further down with good view of the Thimphu valley. Explore around and rest overnight.
Day 4: Drive from Thimpu to Wagduephodrang (1320 m).~ 2 hours, 72 km
Today early morning drive from Thimpu all the way to Wagduephodrang. Enjoy the cultural and natural sightseeing around and rest overnight.
Day 5: Drive from Wagduephodrang to Bumthang (2800 m) via Trongsa (2170 m).~ 7 hours, 202 km
Today we drive from Wagduephodrang all the way to Trongsa & then to Bumthang. Enjoy evening cultural programs and rest overnight.
Day 6: Exploration and acclimatization day at Bumthang (2600m).
Explore the ancient religious sites and sightseeing places around. Rest overnight. Bumthang is main cultural place in Bhutan. Here we can visit Jambay Lhakhang, Kurje Lhakhang, Tamshing Lhakhang, Jakar Dzong, Konchogsum Lhakhang, Chankhar Chakhang, Lhadrak Kharchhu monastery and many other places. Enjoy cultural shows and rest overnight.
Day 7: Trek from Bumthang to Ngang Lhakhang.
Today we trek from Bumthang all the way to Ngang Lhakhang. Enjoy the sightseeing throughout the trek and rest overnight.
Day 08: Trek from Ngang Lhakhang to Ugyenchholing.
Today we trek from Ngang Lhakhang to Ugyenchholing. Rest overnight.
Day 09: Trek from Ugyenchholing to Mebartsho and back to Bumthang.
Today we trek from Ugyenchholing to Mebartsho & Arrive Bumthang. Rest overnight.
Day 10: Drive from Bumthang to Paro.
Today we drive from Wangduephodrang to Punakha & then to Paro. Rest overnight.
Day 11: Final Departure.
