7 days Annapurna base camp trek begins with morning flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara and the very day drive to Nayapul. Annapurna base camp trail follows Modi Khola, passes cultural villages, walks through dense forests of rhododendron, visits the Hinku cave and reaches Machhapuchre Base Camp at the altitude of 3700 m. Next, our trek turns left and walks to reach Annapurna Base Camp at 4,130 meter elevation. After enjoying the surrounding views we trek back the same way according to the itinerary.
Outline Itinerary
Day 01: Fly from Kathmandu to Pokhara, drive to Phedi and trek to Pothana.~ 25 minutes flight, 20 km drive and 4-5 hours trek.
Day 02: Trek from Pothana to Jhinu Danda.~ 6-7 hours
Day 03: Trek from Jhinu Danda to Dovan.~ 6-7 hours
Day 04: Trek from Dovan to ABC via MBC.~ 7-8 hours
Day 05: Trek from ABC to Sinuwa.~ 7-8 hours

Meals:
When you travel to the new place for your holiday, food is the most concerned part of travel. While, traveling with Yarsa treks, you can experience the delightful cuisine of typical Nepali food, continental food, Italian food, Chinese food and different international cuisines. You will be suggested by your guide for good food during your trip. During the trek do not order many dishes and waste food as they have to cater to more trekkers before they run off stock. It is very hard and takes a week or more for caravan and porters to bring the food in these places. You will take lunch in route side, breakfast and dinner will be arranged in the same lodge/Tea house.
Drinking Water:
During the trek you can get the bottled water but it is hard to dispose plastic and it will be the big problem for environment. We will provide purified mineral water during trek. In tea houses you can get bottled water and mineral water in additional cost. It will be better to drink mineral water rather than bottled water.
Accommodations:
We provide you best touristic hotel in Kathmandu/ Pokhara with best location. During the trek tea house is main accommodation for trekkers. A tea house is combination of lodge and restaurant. In the tea house lodges are fairly basic, in some tea houses you can get separate room but in the high altitude rooms are spared with two beds with blankets and little additional furniture. There will be large dining room where you can get the warmth by Bukhara stove. In the tea houses there will be solar electricity but these days most of the tea houses have electricity for charging camera, mobile phones and other small appliances.
Things to take:
This is very active trip we can’t stay in same place. You can take very light and necessary things. You will get a porter who will carry 30 kg which means 2 trekkers=1 porter. Porters are allowed to carry 30 kg of your stuff. Porters will carry your necessary stuff in a duffel bag.

Health & Fitness:
These treks are some of moderate and some of strenuous type. Passionate trekkers should have ability to walk for 4-7 hours a day. Trekking to the high altitude is more challenging than the low altitude. To complete the trip we should have good health, average physical fitness, passion, confidence, determination and positive attitude. If you have past hiking experience or exercising habits it will be the better for your trek. If you have pre-existing health problems such as lungs, heart and other diseases, it is better to consult with your doctor or inform Yarsa treks before booking the trip.
Suitable Time to Trek:
For trekking to the high altitude we should concern about the weather condition. Autumn (Sept-Nov) and Spring (March-May) are the best seasons for trekking in Himalayas. Trekking in Summer and Monsoon (June-Aug) is affected by rain. You can also trek in winter but temperatures could be harsher for most trekkers.

Important Notes:
If you’re confused to pack up your necessary things just see in the check list tab. Bring light and necessary things. You will need medium size bag to carry your daily usable stuff. The weather is subject to change in high altitude so layered clothing is recommended throughout the trek.

Day 01: Fly from Kathmandu to Pokhara (835 m), drive to Phedi and trek to Pothana (2,000 m).~ 25 minutes flight, 45 minutes drive and 4-5 hours treks.
Today is our starting day of Annapurna base camp trek. Early in the morning we take flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara. In Pokhara you will meet your crew (Guide and Porter) and prepare your bag pack then drive 22 km to Phedi. After Phedi we walk to ridge and reach Dhumpas. After taking lunch we walk through forest and ascend for 2 hours to reach Pothana. Explore around and rest overnight.
Day 02:Trek from Pothana to Jhinu Danda (1,800 m).~ 6-7 hours trek.
Today we walk with the magnificent sunrise view and head towards Deurali. After Deurali trail descend to Tolka; here we can see the Magar lifestyle and typical custom. After Tolka we pass through Landruk village then trail enters to Modi Khola valley. Next, we reach at Jhinu Danda. You can enjoy hot spring at the bank of the river and rest overnight.
Day 03: Trek from Jhinu Danda to Dovan (2,505 m).~ 6-7 hours trek.
Trail steeply climbs through stone paved path to Chhomorng village which is largest settlement of this valley. After crossing Chhomorng village trail descend to cross Chhomorng Khola then ascend to Sinuwa. Next, our trail passes through dense forest of rhododendron and bamboo till Dovan. Explore around and rest overnight.
Day 04: Trek from Dovan to ABC (4,130 m) via MBC (3,700 m).~ 7-8 hours trek
Today also we start walkin through dense forest and cross several avalanche and pass Hinku cave before reach to Deurali in 3,000 m. Our trail continuously ascends up to enter sanctuary valley with the splendid view of Machhapuchre (6,993 m), Gangapurna and Annapurna III. Next, we walk and turn left and pass roofless shepherd huts we will be heart of the Sanctuary and Annapurna Base Camp. From here you can get the 360 degree mountain peaks around. Rest overnight at tea house.
Day 05: Trek from ABC to Sinuwa (2,100 m).~ 7-8 hours
Today we will wake up early in the morning to see the breathtaking sunrise view over Annapurna Machhapuchre and other mountain peaks. After magnificent sunrise view we trek back from sanctuary valley with the view of Annapurna III, Gangapurna and Machhapuchre. We descend through dense forest to reach Dovan. After Dovan we ascend to Sinuwa and rest overnight.
Day 06: Trek from Sinuwa to Ghandruk Phedi and drive to Pokhara (835 m).~ 5 hours trek and 2 hours drive
Today we descxend to Chhomorng Khola, walk through stone paved path and ascend to Jhinu danda through dense forest. After Jhinu Danda trail cross Modi Khola and pass through dense forest to reach Ghandruk Phedi. There will be vehicle waiting for you then say bye to you porter and drive to Pokhara. Enjoy the evening at Lakeside and rest overnight.
Day 07: Drive 211 km back to Kathmandu (1,400 m).~ 6-7 hours
Today we will drive 211 km from Pokhara to Kathmandu. On the way we can see the magnificent view green valley, landscape and small highway town. From Munglin we drive from the George of the Trishuli river; which is famous for white water adventure. Next, we will reach Kathmandu and transfer to your hotel. here Yarsa treks end service with you, hope we make you satisfied from our service.
