Annapurna circuit route is one of the classic treks in Nepal. This trekking route was opened in 1977 for trekkers. Annapurna circuit route is a famous trek which covers two districts of Manang and Lamjung. Trekking in Nepal especially, in Annapurna region is the best experience of great cultures of Gurung and Tibetans with the splendid view of high Himalayas. Annapurna circuit trek is blend of the culture, magnificent view of Himalayas and beautiful landscape. This trekking route starts from subtropical vegetation to alpine semi desert. We walk through different cultural villages at the low altitude and Tibetan settlement at the high altitude. Trekking in Annapurna region is exciting and the most visited route in Nepal. Passing through Thorong La Pass (5,416 m) which is the most exciting part of Annapurna circuit route.
During this trek we pass through different Gurung and Tibetan villages. Trekking through gorge of the Marsyangdi river with the majestic view of Lumjung Himal and Hiunchuli is one of the exciting parts of this trekking. Trail passes Chame, Pisang, Manang and other several cultural villages. During this trek we can see blue sheep and other faunas. We pass Thorong La Pass and visit the most holy temple Muktinath and trek to Jomsom to fly back to Pokhara and to Kathmandu

Day 02: Drive from Besisahar to Chame (2,670 m).~ 4-5 hours drive

Day 04: Trek from Pisang to Manang (3,540 m).~ 5-6 hours walk
Day 05: Acclimatization in Manang.
Day 06: Trek from Manang to Thorang La Phedi (4,450 m).~ 6-7 hours walk
Day 07: Trek from Phedi to Muktinath (3,800 m) via Thorang La Pass (5,416 m).~ 7-8 hours walk

Day 09: Fly from Jomsom to Pokhara (835 m).~ 25 minutes flight

More Information
Meals:
When you travel to the new place for your holiday, food is concerned part of travel. While, traveling with Yarsa treks, you can experience the delightful cuisine of typical Nepali food, continental food, Italian food, Chinese food and different international cuisines. You will be suggested by your guide for good food during your trip. During the trek do not order many dishes and waste food, they have to cater to more trekkers before they run off stock. It is very hard and takes a week or more for caravan and porters to bring the food in these places. You will take lunch in route side, breakfast and dinner will be arranged in the same lodge/Tea house.
Drinking Water:
During the trek you can get the bottled water but it is hard to dispose plastic and it will be the big problem for environment. We will provide purified mineral water during trek. In tea houses you can get bottled water and mineral water in additional cost. It will be better to drink mineral water rather than bottled water.
Accommodations:
We provide you best touristic hotel in Kathmandu/ Pokhara with best location. During the trek tea house is main accommodation for trekkers. A tea house is combination of lodge and restaurant. In the tea house lodges are fairly basic, in some tea houses you can get separate room but in the high altitude rooms are spared with two beds with blankets and little additional furniture. There will be large dining room where you can get the warmth by Bukhara stove. In the tea houses there will be solar electricity but these days most of the tea houses have electricity for charging camera, mobile phones and other small appliances.
Things to take:
This is very active trip we can’t stay in same place. You can take very light and necessary things. You will get a porter who will carry 30 kg which means 2 trekkers=1 porter. Porters are allowed to carry 30 kg of your stuff. Porters will carry your necessary stuff in a duffel bag.

Health & Fitness:
These treks are some of moderate and some of strenuous. Passionate trekkers should have ability to walk for 4-7 hours a day. Trekking to the high altitude is more challenging than the low altitude. To complete the trip we should have good health, average physical fitness, passion, confidence, determination and positive attitude. If you have past hiking experience or exercising habits it will be the better for your trek. If you have pre-existing health problems such as lungs, heart and other diseases, it is better to consult with your doctor or inform Yarsa treks before booking the trip.
Suitable Time to Trek:
For trekking to the high altitude we should concern about the weather condition. Autumn (Sept-Nov) and Spring (March-May) are the best seasons for trekking in Himalayas. Trekking in Summer and Monsoon (June-Aug) is affected by rain. You can also trek in winter but temperatures could be harsher for most trekkers.

Important Notes:
If you’re confused to pack up your necessary things just see in the check list tab. Bring light and necessary things. You will need medium size bag to carry your daily usable stuff. The weather is subject to change in high altitude so layered clothing is recommended throughout the trek.

Day 01: Drive from Kathmandu to Besisahar (760 m).~ 7-8 hours drive
Today morning we drive from Kathmandu to Besisahar. We drive through Thankot, Malakhu (famous for local fish) and follow Trishuli River (famous river for white water adventure) till Mungling. From Mungling we turn west and cross Trishuli River and pass small highway town. After Dumre we take right path to north and follow the Marsyangdi River with the beautiful view of green valleys and small villages. Next, we will reach Besisahar and rest overnight at hotel.
Day 02: Drive from Besisahar to Chame (2,670 m).~ 4-5 hours drive
Today after breakfast we drive to Chame. It will be the adventurous road trip at the gorge of the Marsyangdi River. From Besisahar to chame we drive through public jeep. It is the opportunity to intimate with local people of Annapurna circuit region. Next, we will reach Chame at the edge of the Marsyangdi river. Explore around and rest overnight.
Day 03: Trek from Chame to Pisang (3,200 m).~ 5-6 hours walk
Today we trek to Pisang. Trail climbs up and descends to cross the bridge before reach Taleku. After Taleku two hours walk will lead us to sparsely inhabitant Birthang. Next, we walk about an hour to reach Pisang. Explore around get the beautiful view of Pisang peak and Hiunchuli. Rest overnight at lodge.
Day 04: Trek from Pisang to Manang (3,540 m).~ 5-6 hours walk
Today we trek to reach Manang which is beautiful touristic village. Trail moves windy and dry atmosphere and trail gradually raise lower Manang to upper Manang through the alpine valley. Our trail descends to flat valley name Ongri. Next, we cross the Bridge of Sabche River with the splendid view Annapurna range and pass Braga village to reach Manang. Explore around and rest overnight.
Day 05: Acclimatization in Manang.
Today we stay at Manang and explore around view points. We will go to Gangapurna Lake and see the majestic view of Gangapurna peak, Tilicho peak, Annapurna range, Dhulagiri and other several snow capped peaks. Experience the culture and lifestyle of local. Rest overnight.
Day 06: Trek from Manang to Thorang La Phedi (4,450 m).~ 6-7 hours walk
Today we walk to reach Thorong La Phedi. Trail crosses terraced field of Manang village and climb up to Tanki valley. Trail passes Ghunsa village and walk through graze field of horses and yaks. We pass Yak Kharka and reach Ledar, after Ledar it takes 2 hours to reach Thorong La Phedi. See the majestic view around and rest overnight.
Day 07: Trek from Phedi to Muktinath (3,800 m) via Thorong La Pass (5,416 m).~ 7-8 hours walk
Today is our longest and exciting walk to Thorang La Pass. We start climb to Thorong La Pass to reach in 5,416 m elevation. From top of the Thorong la Pass we can get the magnificent view of Annapurna range, Tilicho peaks, Chulu East peak and beautiful valley of Muktinath. Descend to Muktinath and rest overnight.
Day 08: Trek from Muktinath to Jomsom (2,743 m).~ 5-6 hours walk
Today early in the morning we visit holy Muktinath temple; believe that sins are relief after visiting this holy temple. After visiting Muktinath temple we walk to reach Jomsom. In Jomsom Local brandy Marpha (made from apple) is very famous. It will be the great opportunity to taste it.
Day 09: Fly from Jomsom to Pokhara (835 m).~ 25 minutes flight
Today after breakfast we will fly to Pokhara taking beautiful memory of Annapurna circuit trek. Visit some touristic spot in Pokhara. Enjoy the evening at lakeside and rest overnight.
Day 10: Fly or Drive 211 km to Kathmandu (1,400 m).~ 25 minutes flight or 6-7 hours drive
Today we drive to Kathmandu through several small town. We will reach Dumre and drive same way back as before. Drive will take you to hotel and get ready for dinner in Nepali restaurant with several cultural shows arranged by Yarsa terks.
