Manaslu circuit trek is tea house trek which leads to 8th highest peaks (8,156 m) in the world. This destination is one of the most popular among the circuit trek in Nepal. During this trip trekkers can get all the elements of other trekking region in Nepal including Buddhist culture, Hindus culture, different flora and fauna. During the trek in Manaslu region trail moves through the George of the Budi Gandaki River with the majestic view of Manaslu and other snow capped peaks. Manslu circuit trek is another great alternative trek of Annapurna circuit. Manaslu circuit trek offers totally different experience among other circuit trip in Himalayas region.

If trekkers want to be the part of the remote, untouched, adventurous and less explored trekking destination in Nepal, Yarsa treks will recommend Manslu circuit treks; where trekkers can get all these elements in one trekking package. We start this from Kathmandu to Soti Khola and trek through Machha Khola, Jagat, Namrung, Sama Goan, Samdo and other many cultural villages. One of the interesting part of Manaslu circuit trek is climb to Larkya La Pass (5,106 m) to see the view stunning view of Mountain around you. Lastly, trek to Dharapani and drive to Besisahar to Kathmandu.

Day 01: Drive from Kathmandu to Soti Khola (597 m) via Arughat (550 m).~ 8 hours drive

Day 02: Trek from Soti Khola to Machha Khola (825 m).~ 5-6 hours walk

Day 03: Trek from Machha Khola to Jagat (1,330 m).~ 6 hours walk

Day 04: Trek from Jagat to Deng (1,860 m).~ 6-7 hours walk

Day 05: Trek from Deng to Namrung (2,580 m).~ 5-6 hours walk

Day 06: Trek from Namrung to Sama Goan (3,480 m).~ 5-6 hours walk

Day 07: Excursion in Sama Goan.

More Information

Meals:
When you travel to the new place for your holiday, food is most concern part of travel. While, traveling with Yarsa treks, you can experience the delightful cuisine of typical Nepali food, continental food, Italian food, Chinese food and different international cuisine. You will be suggested by your guide for good food during your trip. During the trek do not order many dishes and waste food, they have to cater more trekkers before they run off stuck. It is very hard and takes week or more for caravan and porter to brings the food in these places. You will take lunch in route side, breakfast and dinner will arrange in the same lodge/Tea house.

Drinking Water:
During the trek you can get the bottled water but it is hard to dispose plastic and it will be the big problem for environment. We will provide purified mineral water during trek. In tea house you can get bottle water and mineral water in additional cost. It will better to drink mineral water rather than bottled water.

Accommodations:
We provide you best touristic hotel in Kathmandu/Pokhara with best location. During the trek tea house is main accommodation for trekkers. A tea house is combination of lodge and restaurant. In the tea house lodge are fairly basic, some tea house you can get separate room but in the high altitude rooms are spare with two beds with blanket and little additional furniture.  There will be large dining room where you can get the warm by Bukhara stove. In the tea house there will be the solar electricity but these days most of the tea houses have electricity for charge Camera, Mobile phones and other small appliances.

Things to take:
This is very active trip we can’t stay in same place. You can take very light and necessary things. You will get porter he will carry 30 kg it means 2 trekkers=1 porter. Porters are allowed to carry 30 kg of your stuff. Porter will carry your necessary stuff in duffel bag.

Health & Fitness:
These treks are some of moderate and some of strenuous, passionate trekkers should have ability to walk for 4-7 hours a day. Trekking to the high altitude is more challenging than the low altitude. To complete the trip we have good health, average physical fitness, passionate, confidence, determination and positive attitude. If you have past hiking experience or exercising habits it will be the better for your trek. If you have pre-existing health problem such as lung, heart and other diseases it is better to consult with your doctor or inform Yarsa treks before booking the trip.

Suitable Time to Trek:
For Trekking to the high altitude we should concern about the weather condition. Autumn (Sept-Nov) and spring (March-May) is the best season for trekking in Himalayas. Trekking in summer and Monsoon (June-Aug) is affected by rain. You can also trek in winter but tempters could be most harsh for most trekkers.

Important Notes:
If you’re confused to pack up your necessary things just see in the check list tab. Bring light and necessary things. You will need medium size bag to carry your daily usable stuff. The weather is subject to change in high altitude so layered clothing is recommended throughout the trek.

Day 01: Drive from Kathmandu to Soti Khola (597 m) via Arughat (550 m).~ 8 hours drive
After breakfast we drive to Arughat through the George of the Trishuli river; which is famous for White water adventure. From Malakhu we leave Prithivi highway and follow Dhdingbesi highway to reach Arughat. From Arughat it takes 30-45 minutes to reach Soti Khola. Explore around and rest overnight.

Day 02: Trek from Soti Khola to Machha Khola (825 m).~ 5-6 hours walk
Today we walk and cross the bridge then ascend to the ridge. Trail leads us through the Sal forest and we will reach Khursane. After crossing forest trail goes up and down then reach Tropical waterfall, eventually trail pass terraced rice field to reach Labubesi. After Labubesi we walk descend to Sandy River and short walk lead us to Machha Khola. Explore around and rest overnight.

Day 03: Trek from Machha Khola to Jagat (1,330 m).~ 6 hours walk
After breakfast we walk and cross the Tharo Khola and reach Khorlabari. Trail moves through small hot spring and cross Budi Gandaki River then walk through ridge line to reach Dovan. After Dovan trail moves to cross Yaru Khola then stair climb to Tharo Bharayang. Next, we will cross Budi Gandaki river and walk along the river to reach Jagat. Explore Jagat village and rest overnight.

Day 04: Trek from Jagat to Deng (1,860 m).~ 6-7 hours walk
After breakfast we climb to rocky ridge of Sallari and descend to Sirdibas. Trail takes us upstream and cross long suspension bridge to reach Gurung village Philim. After Philim we will descend to gorge, cross grassy land and cross Deng Khole to reach Deng village. Explore around and rest overnight.

Day 05: Trek from Deng to Namrung (2,580 m).~ 5-6 hours walk
After breakfast we walk to Rana village. After crossing Rana we walk through Budi Gndaki valley and reach Prok village. From this village we can get majestic view of Siring himal. After crossing Prok village we cross Budi Gandaki several times and walk through forest. Next we will reach Namrung village. Explore around and rest overnight.

Day 06: Trek from Namrung to Sama Goan (3,480 m).~ 5-6 hours walk
From Namrung village we can get splendid view of Siring himal,Ganesh himal and Hiunchuli. Trail moves through forest and we will walk to pass terraced fields of Lichi village. Next we walk through the valley of Siring and Ganesh himal then pass Sho, Lho and Shyala to reach Sama village. Explore around and rest overnight.

Day 07: Excursion in Sama Goan.
Today we will walk to visit Manaslu Base Camp and Birendra Tal which are near from each other. After visiting base camp and Birendra Tal trek back to Sama Goan. You are in the middle of the Sherpa culture; see their lifestyle, culture and religious tradition. rest overnight.

Day 08: Trek from Sama Goan to Samdo (3,865 m).~ 5-6 hours walk
After breakfast trail descend to Dudh Koshi and walk through Manaslu Base Camp. We walk through juniper forest to reach Kermo Kharka. Next, we descend Budi Gandaki and cross wooden bridge. Next we will reach Samdo and rest overnight.

Day 09: Trek from Samdo to Dharmasala/Larka La Phedi (4,470 m).~ 4-5 hours walk
After breakfast trail drop to Budi Gandaki and cross wooden bridge. We wiil come close view of Larkya glacier and walk through Salka valley then ascend to ridge; here we can see stone house which is made for shelter (Known as Dharmasala). Rest overnight at Dharmasal.

Day 10: Trek from Dharmasala to Bimthang via Larka La Pass (5,106 m).~ 8-9 hours walk
Today we walk through Larkya glacier with the magnificent view of Cho Danda and Larkya peak. We walk through moraine of glacier and ascend to Larkya La Pass. From Larkya La Pass we can get the majestic view of Manaslu himal, Lamjung himal, Cheo himal, Himlung himal, Kangaru and giant Annapurna II and other snow capped peaks. Next, we descend through pasture to reach Bimthang. Rest overnight at Bimthang.

Day 11: Trek from Bimthang to Dharapani (1,860 m).~ 5-6 hours walk
Today is our last trek of this trip. We walk through the forest with the view of mountains. Trail passes several village of Gurung and Magar community then descends to meet Annapurna circuit trail. Rest overnight at Dharapani.

Day 12: Drive to Besisahar to Kathmandu (1,400 m).~ 8-9 hours drive
Today morning we will drive to Kathmandu through Besisahar. Trail follow Marsyangdi river and turn towards east to follow another mighty river Trishuli river. Next we will reach to Kathmandu, after refreshed Yarsa treks arrange farewell dinner in Nepali restaurant with cultural show. Rest overnight at hotel. Here we end our service with you.
