Chitwan Jungle safari tour is most popular destination for those tourist who want to experience the wilderness of the region. Chitwan National Park has been designated in UNESCO World Heritage site since 1979. Covering a total area of 932 sq. km. Chitwan National Park is situated in the south central part of Nepal. Chitwan National Park is home to many exotic and endangered species like one horned Rhino, Royal Bengal Tiger, Asiatic elephant, Gharials and many more. Animals like rhesus monkey, grey langur, deer, leopards and wild cats, wild boar, deer are also found in the jungle. Lush vegetation, tall trees of Sal, vines of other plant twisting around the trunk, colorful birds singing gives you the real sense of wilderness.

To reach Chitwan you can either take a flight from Kathmandu to Bharatpur or drive for about 6 hours in a deluxe tourist coach. The highlights of Chitwan Jungle safari tour are Jungle safari, elephant riding, canoeing, visiting Tharu cultural museums, Tharu cultural show, nature walk, bird watching, elephant bathing and sunset view. In Jungle safari tour you will enter deep into the jungle travelling either in a jeep or at elephant back. During elephant safari or jeep safari you will encounter many wild animals like one horned rhinos, deer, monkey, wild boar and other. If you are lucky you can also get a chance to see the exotic royal Bengal tiger in the forest. You will surely enjoy the canoeing, along river, in a hand dug boat where you can see Gharials and crocodile passing by your boat. Bathing with elephant while you sit on elephant back is fun. Walking in the jungle by foot and watching bird is the best part for those bird lovers. Here you will also get to enjoy the Tharu cultural show and learn their fascinating culture while you visit Tharu museum.

Outline Itinerary

Day 01: Drive 160 km from Kathmandu to Chitwan.~ 4-5 hours drive

Day 02: Jungle Safari day.

Day 03: See the view of Sunrise and drive 160 km back to Kathmandu.~ 4-5 hours drive

Day 01: Drive from Kathmandu to Chitwan.
Today early in the morning we drive for 4-5hours from Kathmandu all the way to Chitwan national park. After the lunch we go for an elephant ride or by walk through the high grassland the home of rare and endangered one horned rhino. We pass through lush green forest into the existence of wildlife through the day. At evening we reach our hotel rest for a while and then go to the cultural program conducted by Tharu people of Terai. Rest overnight.

Day 02: Jungle Safari day.
Today we provide you a guided safari activity throughout the day. Elephant back safari, nature walk, boat ride, jeep ride and other exciting hike through the jungle of Chitwan to view the beauty of nature and different variety of wild animals and plants. We come back to the hotel at evening, enjoy the lovely evening dinner and rest overnight.

Day 03: See the view of Sunrise and drive back to Kathmandu.
Today early in the morning we are going to view the fascinating sunrise view at the bank of Narayai River. We go for a short wild safari activity and then be back to the hotel for lunch. At day time we drive back to Kathmandu. Rest overnight.
