Chulu East Peak (6,584 m) Climbing is one of the most popular peak climbing destination situated at the top of Manang. This adventurous peak climbing destination is famous for its fascinating mountain scenery and delighted landscape. This exotic trekking and peak climbing destination is the combination of adventurous natural trekking along with different cultural tour. The climb is united with the classic trek around the Annapurna massif, climbing the Marshyangdi valley and crossing the Thorong La Pass, before descending the Kaligandaki valley to Pokhara.
Chulu range has two different Peaks such as Chulu East Peak (6,584 m) and Chulu Far East Peak (6,059 m). First climber to this peak was German in 1955. To climbing Chulu Peak you should take training about how to use climbing tools. Before climbing to the Chulu peak our climbing guide will provide you proper training about using climbing gears. Chulu East provides the spectacular panorama of Mt. Annapurna II, III, IV, Mt. Gangapurna, Mt. Manaslu, Mt. Dhaulagiri, Tilicho Peak and other majestic Himalayas.

Meals:
When you travel to the new place for your holiday, food is most concern part of travel. While, traveling with Yarsa treks, you can experience the delightful cuisine of typical Nepali food, continental food, Italian food, Chinese food and different international cuisine. You will be suggested by your guide for good food during your trip. During the trek do not order many dishes and waste food; they have to cater more trekkers before they run off stuck. It is very hard and takes week or more for caravan and porter to brings the food in these altitude places. You will take lunch in route side, breakfast and dinner will arrange in the same lodge/Tea house.
Drinking Water:
During the trek you can get the bottled water but it is hard to dispose plastic and it will be the big problem for environment. We will provide purified mineral water during trek. In tea house you can get bottle water and mineral water in additional cost. It will better to drink mineral water rather than bottled water.
Accommodations:
We provide you best touristic hotel in Kathmandu with best location. During the trek tea house is main accommodation for trekkers. A tea house is combination of lodge and restaurant. In the tea house lodge are fairly basic, some tea house you can get separate room but in the high altitude rooms are spare with two beds with blanket and little additional furniture. There will be large dining room where you can get the warm by Bukhara stove. In the tea house there will be the solar electricity but these days most of the tea houses have electricity for charge Camera, Mobile phones and other small appliances.
Things to take:
This is very active trip we can’t stay in same place. You can take very light and necessary things. You will get porter he will carry maximum 30 kg it means 2 trekkers=1 porter. Porters are allowed to carry maximum 30 kg of your stuff. Porter will carry your necessary stuff in duffel bag.

Health & Fitness:
Island peak climbing is not much difficult but you should have good physical, stamina, positive energy for summit. You don’t need huge climbing experience but you need to know the knowledge of climbing equipment. Before the summit there will be the pre-ice climbing training in the Island peak base camp; training will let you know how to use climbing equipment. For Island peak climbing you needs to walk usually 5-7 hours of everyday and 10-12 hours in summit day. So, our advise you that you prepare yourself jogging or walking every day around 2 months before your trip. For Island peak you have to walk in high altitude and remote villages. For successful summit you must have potential will power, physical fitness, stamina and positivity inside you. You need to consult with doctor or let us know about your physical condition before your climbing trip.
Climbing:
During the trip we will provide you an experienced, English speaking and license holder climbing guide. For the main guide, assailant guide and necessary Sherpa crew we need to know your group size then we will define the crew member that you need for the climbing trip. We are concern about your safety so we will arrange the necessary staff and Sherpa for your trip; if anybody becomes ill during the trip we still go as planned. Let you know group should be 2-12 people for the successful climbing trip.
Suitable Time to Trek:
For Trekking to the high altitude we should concern about the weather condition. Autumn (Sept-Nov) and spring (March-May) is the best season for trekking in Himalayas. Trekking in summer and Monsoon (June-Aug) is affected by rain. You can also trek in winter but tempters could be most harsh for most trekkers.

Important notes:
If you’re confused to pack up your necessary things just see in the check list tab. Bring light and necessary things. You will need medium size bag to carry your daily usable stuff. The weather is subject to change in high altitude so layered clothing is recommended throughout the trek.

Day 01: Welcome to Kathmandu (1,400 m).
Upon your arrival Yarsa Treks representative will pick you up from airport and transfer you to Hotel. After getting rest and refreshed you can visit colorful Thamel market and rest overnight.
Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu.
Today we provide you Kathmandu city sightseeing and cultural tour. We take you to the UNESCO world heritage site such as Swayambhunath (Monkey temple), Boudhanath and Pashupatinath. After exploration of heritage site prepare for the trek and rest overnight.
Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Chame (2,630 m).~ 9-10 hours, 252 km
Today early morning Drive 252 km from Kathmandu to Chame (2,630 m). We drive all the way to Chame through the Trishulu River which is very famous for white water adventure. When we reach Mungling we cross the bridge of Trishuli River and move to the west through small town and green valleys. Next we reach Dumre and turn north and fallow the Marsyandgi River, pass green valley then we will be Besisahar which is capital of Lamjung district. Lastly we drive to Chamefor 3- 4 hours. Explore the local and rest overnight.
Day 04: Trek from Chame to Pisang (3,100 m).
Today we walk for 5-6 hours to reach Pisang. We walk through dense forest of rhododendron and cross several small rivers and we will reach Taleku. From Taleku it takes 2 hours to reach Birthang which is separation point of Manang and Lamjung district. Next 1 hour walk from Birthang will lead us to Pisang. Explore around see the culture and their unique custom. Rest overnight.
Day 05: Trek from Pisang to Manang (3,540 m).
Today we trek 5-6hours all the way to Manang. We walk through alpine and pass some small village Braga. We pass through beautiful valley of Manang with the majestic view of Annapurna IV, Tilicho Peak and other snow capped mountains. When we reach Manang we will explore around and rest overnight.
Day 06: Trek from Manang to Yak Kharka (4,018 m).
Today we follow the trail through beautiful valley of Marsyangdi. We walk through cultivated field and Yak graze lands. Next we will reach Yak Kharka. From Yak Kharka we can get the splendid view of far Annapurna range, Tilicho peak, Thorong La Pass and other snow capped mountains around us. Explore the majestic view and rest overnight.
Day 07: Trek to Chulu East Base Camp (5,140 m).
Today we trek to reach Chulu East Base Camp. During the trek we walk through dry alpine rocky path with the spectacular view of Annapurna range, Chulu east, Tilicho peak and other majestic snow capped mountains. When we reach Chulu East Base Camp- your crew will set camp and rest overnight.
Day 08: Acclimatization day in Chulu East Base Camp.
Today we acclimatize and get the climbing knowledge from your guide. Your guide will tell you how to use climbing equipments such as ice axe, rope, harness, crampons etc. Your guide will take you to small passes to teach climbing skills. Prepare for tomorrow and rest overnight.
Day 09: Trek from Chulu base camp to High camp (5,600 m).
Today we trek for 3-4 hours to high camp. On the way we can see spectacular view of Chulu west, Chulu Far East, Pisang peak and other several peaks. We will set the camp near the small lake, Check the things that you need tomorrow ultimate climb and rest overnight.
Day 10: Ultimate Summit day in Chulu East Peak (6,584 m) and back to Base Camp.
Early morning trek from Summit to the Chulu East Peak. It takes 7-8 hours to summit on the top of the Chulu East and back to the Base Camp. Fallow the structure of your guide and moves through rocky path. Next we climb through the snow to reach 6,584m top of the Chulu East Peak. After reaching top you will get We Rest overnight.
Day 11: Trek from Chulu East Base camp to Thorong La Phedi (4,540 m).
Today we trek to reach Thorong La Phedi. We descend through dry alpine path with the majestic view around us and walk near of towering cliff. Next we ascend to reach Thorong La Phedi; from here we can get the breath taking view of mountains around us. After exploration of the majestic view rest overnight at Phedi.
Day 12: Trek from Thorang Phedi to Muktinath via Thorang-La pass (5,416 m).
Today is longest walk of our trek; it takes 7-8 hours to reach Muktinath. Thorong La Pass is highest trekking point of Annapurna region. In thorong La Pass we can see the preyars flags, stone array and sign board about Thorong La Pass. After taking some picture in Thorong La Pass our trail descend with the view of Muktinath valley and Temple. Explore around and rest overnight.
Day 13: Trek from Muktinath to Jomsom (2,720 m).
Today early in the morning we will visit the holy temple Muktinath, if you want bath in holy tap; people believed that sins are relief. After visiting holy temple Muktinath our trail lead us through Ranipawuwa, Gharkot and other small villages. Next we reach to Jomsom; here we can get the local brandy which is very famous. You can taste the local brandy and enjoy the evening. Rest overnight at Jomsom.
Day 14: Drive from Jomsom to Tatopani (1,190 m) or you can fly to Pokhara.
Today you will take drive to reach Tatopai during the drive you can see the local people lifestyle, observe the local custom and can intimate with them. After reaching to Tato pani you can get the natural hot spring in Tatopani. Explore around and rest overnight at Tatopani.
Day 15: Trek from Tatopani to Ghorepani (2,750 m).
Today we walk for 7 hours to reach Ghorepani. Now we walk through subtropical vegetation with the chirping sound of different birds. Walk through rhododendron forest is extraordinary experience because in March-May this rhododendron forest turns in to garden when it blooms. You can get the different colorful rhododendron flowers. On the way we can get majestic view of Annapurna and Fishtail.
Day 16: Trek from Ghorepani to Tikhedhunga (1,500 m) via Poonhill (3,210 m).
Today early in the morning we trek for 45 minutes to reach Poonhill to see the amazing sunrise view over Annapurna (8,091 m), Fishtail (6,993 m), Dhaulagiri (8,167 m) and other snow capped mountains. We descend through different village and see the lifestyle and culture of rural people. In this region most of the inhabitants are Gurung people (known as warriors); we can see their unique culture, lifestyle and typical custom. After passing several villages we will reach Tikhadhunga with the spectacular view of Machhapuchre (6,963 m) and Annapurna (8,091 m). Explore around and rest overnight.
Day 17: Trek from Tikhedhunga to Nayapul and then drive 42 km to Pokhara (820 m).
Today is our last trekking of this trip. We descend to the edge of Modi Khola and pass green valley and cultivated field of Modi Khola. Following Modi Khola for an hour will lead us to Birethanti near the River. Next we will reach Nayapul wher your private vehicle will be waiting your successful arrival. Drive 42 km to Pokhara and spent evening at Lakeside and rest overnhight.
Day 18: Sightseeing in Pokhara (835 m).
Today full day sightseeing and cultural tour around Pokhara. We will take you to visit some place of Pokhara city such as Mahindra cave, Guptshowar cave, Peace whiter Gumpa and other touristic places. After exploration of Pokhara city rest overnight.
Day 19: Drive from Pokhara to Kathamndu (1,400 m).
Early morning drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu. We drive 211 km through several villages, landscapes and along the Trishuli River which is very famous for white water adventure. In Kathmandu we will take you to dinner in Nepali restaurant and enjoy evening cultural program and rest overnight.
Day 20: Farewell Friends!!!
Today after lunch we assist you to international airport for your safe departure. There will be small farewell program before your departure. Hope this is not your last visit in Nepal. We are always ready to welcome you.
