This hiking destination interconnect Khopra ridge (3640 m) and Mohare Danda (3300 m) and offers mesmerizing sunrise/sunset view over world highest mountains. It is believe eco trekking trail was used from ancient traders who come for trade to India and Tibet (Known as Trans Himalaya trail). This off the beaten trail starts from Kathmandu and explores touristic hub of Pokhara then start trekking from Galeshwor and encounters Nagi village before Mohare Danda (3300 m). Next, we will cover Swanta, Christibung, to reach Khopara (3640 m). After exploration on Khorpra ridge our Community eco trek moves towards Tatopani via Bayalikharka then drive to Pokhara to Kathmandu.
Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival day in Kathmandu (1400 m).
Day 02: Drive/fly from Kathmandu to Pokhara (835 m).
Day 03: Drive to Galeshwor and trek to Bashkharka (1525 m).
Day 04: Trek from Bashkharka to Nagi Village (2300 m).
Day 05: Trek from Nagi village to Mohara Danda (3300 m).
Day 06: Trek from Mohare Danda to Swanta village (2200 m).
Day 07: Trek from Swanta village to Dhankharka (3000 m).
Day 08: Trek from Dhankharka to Khopra (3600 m).
Day 09: Trek from Khopra ridge to Paudar village (1900 m).
Day 10: Trek from Paudwar village to Tatopani (1200 m)
Day 11: Trek from Tatopani to Pokhara (835 m).
Day 12: Drive/fly to Kathmandu.
Day 13: Final departure.
More Information
Meals:
When you travel to the new place for your holiday, food is the most concerned part of travel. While, traveling with Yarsa treks, you can experience the delightful cuisine of typical Nepali food, continental food, Italian food, Chinese food and different international cuisines. You will be suggested by your guide for good food during your trip. During the trek do not order many dishes and waste food as they have to cater to more trekkers before they run off stock. It is very hard and takes a week or more for caravan and porters to bring the food in these places. You will take lunch in route side, breakfast and dinner will be arranged in the same lodge/Tea house.
Drinking Water:
During the trek you can get the bottled water but it is hard to dispose plastic and it will be the big problem for environment. We will provide purified mineral water during trek. In tea houses you can get bottled water and mineral water in additional cost. It will be better to drink mineral water rather than bottled water.
Accommodations:
We provide you best touristic hotel in Kathmandu/Pokhara with best location. During the trek tea house is main accommodation for trekkers. A tea house is combination of lodge and restaurant. In the tea house lodges are fairly basic, in some tea houses you can get separate room but in the high altitude rooms are spared with two beds with blankets and little additional furniture. There will be large dining room where you can get the warmth by Bukhara stove. In the tea houses there will be solar electricity but these days most of the tea houses have electricity for charging camera, mobile phones and other small appliances.
Things to take:
This is very active trip we can’t stay in same place. You can take very light and necessary things. You will get a porter who will carry 30 kg which means 2 trekkers=1 porter. Porters are allowed to carry 30 kg of your stuff. Porters will carry your necessary stuff in a duffel bag.
Altitude Map & Route Map:
Yarsa Treks will provide you complete route map and altitude map. At the end of the trip we will provide you Yarsa Treks T-shirt for the memory of trekking with us.
Health & Fitness:
These treks are some of moderate and some of strenuous type.Passionate trekkers should have ability to walk for 4-7 hours a day. Trekking to the high altitude is more challenging than the low altitude. To complete the trip we should have good health, average physical fitness, passion, confidence, determination and positive attitude. If you have past hiking experience or exercising habits it will be the better for your trek. If you have pre-existing health problems such as lungs, heart and other diseases, it is better to consult with your doctor or inform Yarsa treks before booking the trip.
Suitable Time to Trek:
For trekking to the high altitude we should concern about the weather condition. Autumn (Sept-Nov) and Spring (March-May) are the best seasons for trekking in Himalayas. Trekking in Summer and Monsoon (June-Aug) is affected by rain. You can also trek in winter but temperatures could be harsher for most trekkers.

Important Notes:
If you’re confused to pack up your necessary things just see in the check list tab. Bring light and necessary things. You will need medium size bag to carry your daily usable stuff. The weather is subject to change in high altitude so layered clothing is recommended throughout the trek.

Day 01: Arrival day in Kathmandu.
Our representative will receive you and depart you to you hotel in Kathmandu. After refreshment you can visit local market and preparation for the trekking. Rest overnight.
Day 02: Drive/fly from Kathmandu to Pokhara (835 m).
After breakfast you will be transferred to the Pokhara. Anyone can visit lakeside and rest overnight.
Day 03: Drive to Galeshwor and trek to Bashkharka (1525 m).
After breakfast vehicle will drop you to the Galeshwor and ascend to reach Bashkharka. Travelers can get appropriate view of Himalayas and experience Magar culture. Rest overnight at Bashkharka.
Day 04: Trek from Bashkharka to Nagi Village (2300 m).
Guide will brief everybody about trekking trail and local habitant as well as their culture. Our less crowded trail offers peaceful environment with bird chirping which is also include mesmerizing view of mountain of Dhaulagiri region and Annapurna region. Next, after passing several Magar village and rest overnight at Nagi village in community homestay.
Day 05: Trek from Nagi village to Mohara Danda (3300 m).
After breakfast we will trek from Nagi village with the stunning view of Nilgiri, Dhaulagiri, Annapurna and other mountains. Rest overnight at Mohare Danda community lodge.
Day 06: Trek from Mohare Danda to Swanta village (2200 m).
Early in the morning we will observe the sunrise view over Dhaulagiri (8167 m), Annapurna (8091 m), Machhapuchre (6993 m) and other mountains. After breakfast we will trek to descend through rhododendron forest to reach Swanta village. Rest overnight at Swana village.
Day 07: Trek from Swanta village to Dhankharka (3000 m).
After breakfast we will ascend from Swanta village and pass through vegetation. After having lunch we will ascend through forest with majestic view of mountains. The trail were used from ancient period for trade to Tibet and India. Rest overnight at Dhankharka community lodge.
Day 08: Trek from Dhankharka to Khopra (3600 m).
Our trajectory stars to lead us another popular destination in Annapurna region which is Khopra ridge (3600 m). After breakfast we will ascend to reach Khopra ridge and get the mesmerizing view of Himalayas, it seems that you can touch with your hands. This ridge will offer sunset view over Dhailagiri and other snow peaks. Rest overnight at community lodge in Khopra ridge.
Day 09: Trek from Khopra ridge to Paudar village (1900 m).
Today we will wake up early in the morning to have the phenomenal sunrise view from Khopra ridge. Explorer can get fascinating view of mountains of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri range. After getting breathtaking view we will trek to Paudar village which is inhabitant by Magar community and some of are Gurung community. Rest overnight at Paudar village.
Day 10: Trek from Paudwar village to Tatopani (1200 m).
Today is our last day of trekking and our trail descend to Tatopani and you can take hot spring to fell relax after mighty trek. Rest overnight at Tatopani.
Day 11: Drive from Tatopani to Pokhara (835 m).
After breakfast our trail follow to reach Beni and to Pokhara. You can visit Sarangkot and reach to hotel for rest. Rest overnight at hotel.
Day 12: Drive/fly to Kathmandu.
We will drive/fly back to Kathmandu and you can go for shopping in market. Rest overnight at Hotel.
Day 13: Final departure.
We will drop you to the TIA for your final departure.

These lists may require vary or little according to the season and your trekking duration. The weight is limit for 15 kg (33 pounds), we suggest you to carry only the valuable things.
