Gosainkunda lake is located in Langtang national park and trekking moves to the higher elevation of glacier fresh water lake of Gosainkunda (4380 m). Gosainkunda regards as holiest site for Hindus and Buddhist, in addition named as Ramsar site since 2007 which is important as a wetland. This trek falls to the Langtang national park and considered as sacred place on earth which beholds stunning view of Himalayas Manaslu region, Langtang region and mountain from Tibetan territory. Langtang Gosainkunda trekking also known as frozen lake by some of international trekkers. Trekking to Gosainkunda lake is one of the fascinating destination to visit because trajectory encounters Tamang traditional village and majestic view of mountains. The trail follows the dense forest, villages, ridges, ravines and suspension bridge. It is the perfect blend of traditional culture, legends myth and desire to mountains for those do not want trek in high altitude. Lord Shiva molded Gosainkunda by his trident after getting thirsty, this is how the lake was formed, according to the mythology.
This trekking encounter the mighty Langtang valley which explore the region most visiting points. It improvise the strength to explore by mighty natural beauty. Day 01: Kathmandu (1,400 m) Arrival Day
Day 02: Drive to Syabrubesi (1,610 m).~145 km, 7-8 hours
Day 03: Trek to Lama Hotel (2,480 m).~ 5-6 hours
Day 04: Trek to Langtang Village (3,541 m).~ 5-6 hours
Day 05: Trek to Kyanjing Gompa (3,900 m).~ 3 hours
Day 06: Hike up to Chorkari Ri (5,050 m) and trek back to Kyanjing Gompa.~ 5-6 hours
Day 07: Trek down to Lama Hotel (2,480 m).~ 6-7 hours
Day 08: Trek to Thulo Saybru (2,200 m).~ 5-6 hours

Meals:
When you travel to the new place for your holiday, food is most concern part of travel. While, traveling with Yarsa treks, you can experience the delightful cuisine of typical Nepali food, continental food, Italian food, Chinese food and different international cuisine. You will be suggested by your guide for good food during your trip. During the trek do not order many dishes and waste food, they have to cater more trekkers before they run off stuck. It is very hard and takes week or more for caravan and porter to brings the food in these places. You will take lunch in route side, breakfast and dinner will arrange in the same lodge/Tea house.
Drinking Water:
During the trek you can get the bottled water but it is hard to dispose plastic and it will be the big problem for environment. We will provide purified mineral water during trek. In tea house you can get bottle water and mineral water in additional cost. It will better to drink mineral water rather than bottled water.
Accommodations:
We provide you best touristic hotel in Kathmandu/Pokhara with best location. During the trek tea house is main accommodation for trekkers. A tea house is combination of lodge and restaurant. In the tea house lodge are fairly basic, some tea house you can get separate room but in the high altitude rooms are spare with two beds with blanket and little additional furniture. There will be large dining room where you can get the warm by Bukhara stove. In the tea house there will be the solar electricity but these days most of the tea houses have electricity for charge Camera, Mobile phones and other small appliances.
Things to take:
This is very active trip we can’t stay in same place. You can take very light and necessary things. You will get porter he will carry 30 kg it means 2 trekkers=1 porter. Porters are allowed to carry 30 kg of your stuff. Porter will carry your necessary stuff in duffel bag.

Health & Fitness:
These treks are some of moderate and some of strenuous, passionate trekkers should have ability to walk for 4-7 hours a day. Trekking to the high altitude is more challenging than the low altitude. To complete the trip we have good health, average physical fitness, passionate, confidence, determination and positive attitude. If you have past hiking experience or exercising habits it will be the better for your trek. If you have pre-existing health problem such as lung, heart and other diseases it is better to consult with your doctor or inform Yarsa treks before booking the trip.
Suitable Time to Trek:
For Trekking to the high altitude we should concern about the weather condition. Autumn (Sept-Nov) and spring (March-May) is the best season for trekking in Himalayas. Trekking in summer and Monsoon (June-Aug) is affected by rain. You can also trek in winter but tempters could be most harsh for most trekkers.

Important notes:
If you’re confused to pack up your necessary things just see in the check list tab. Bring light and necessary things. You will need medium size bag to carry your daily usable stuff. The weather is subject to change in high altitude so layered clothing is recommended throughout the trek.

Day 01: Welcome
to Kathmandu (1,400 m).
Upon your arrival we
assist you from Tribhuvan international airport to our hotel. After getting
rest and refreshed we will arrange you typical Nepal dinner with cultural
dances and rest overnight.
Day 02: Drive
from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (1,610 m).
We drive for 7hours
following the fast flowing Trishuli from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (1610m) by
Bus. We will take lunch in Trishuli and drive to Syabrubesi. Explore around and
rest overnight.
Day 03: Trek
Sayabrubesi to Lama Hotel (2,480 m).
Today we trek from Syabrubesi
to Lama Hotel (2,480 m.) walking for 5-6 hours. We ascend
gradually following Langtang River, crossing suspension bridge, dense pine and
oak forest, passing different villages experiencing their lifestyle and culture
we will be in lama hotel (2470 m) and rest overnight.Rest overnight.
Day 04: Trek
Lama Hotel to Langtang village (3,541 m).
Today we trek from Lama Hotel
to Langtang village (3,541 m.) walking for 5 hours. Trail gradually moves
through the hemlock, pine and rhododendron forest to reach beautiful village
Ghodatabela. Next we trek Langtang village through forest of pine and
rhododendron with the view of Langtang lirung, and naya kang and few walk will
lead us to cultural village Langtang. We explore village and rest overnight.
Day 05: Trek
Langtang village to kyanjing gompa (3,900 m).
Today we trek from
Langtang village to Kyanjing Gompa (3,900 m.) walking for 2-3hours. Today we
trek for short time through the important place. Some ascend and descend we
will reach Mani wall (biggest mani wall in Nepal) and yak posture. This is a Trans
Himalayan route from ancient period. Explore around Kyanjing gompa and rest
overnight.
Day 06: Hike
for Chorkari RI (5,050 m) and back to Kyanjing gompa.
We hike up to Chorkari
RI (5050m) and then trek back to Kyanjing Gompa. Today we walk for 5-6 hours ascends to 5,050 m high Chorkari RI to see the magical view of Langtang Lirung, Yala
peak, Naya kang, and Shihia pangama. After spending some memorable moment we
will trek back to Kyanjing gompa for rest and overnight.
Day 07: Trek
down to Lama Hotel (2,480 m).
Today we trek down to
Lama Hotel (2,480 m.) walking for 6 hours. We start our trail through Langtang village,
Ghodatabela, dense forest of pine, rhododendron and bamboo. We walk along the Langtang River and cross several
suspension bridges to reach Lama Hotel and rest overnight.
Day 08: Trek
lama hotel to Thulo Syabru (2,200 m).
Today we trek from Lama
Hotel to Thulo Syabru (2,200 m.) walking for 5-6hours. Gradually trail moves to Pairo and ascend with
the view of Ganesh himal and cross south side of river above bamboo. Next trail turns south and trek up to U Kyang to
reach Thulo syabru. Explore the village and rest overnight.
Day 09: Trek
Thulo syabru to Sing Gompa(3,200 m).
Today we trek from Thulo
Syabru to Sing Gompa (3580 m.) walking for 5 hours. We start trekking with spectacular
view of Ganesh himal to tha north east and Langtang ranges to the north. Zigzags
path to the up lead us potato field and fallow the path to reach Dursagang . After
Dursagang trail climb up through hemlock
and oak forest and open pasture on a ridge to Phoprang Danda. Next final ridge lead us to Chandan bari and
Sing Gmpa (here is a cheese factory). Explore around and rest overnight.
Day 10: Trek
Sing Gompa to Gosainkunda (4,380 m).
Today we trek from Sing
Gompa all the way to sacred Gosainkunda (4,380 m.) walking for 5-6 hours. Trail
ascends from rhododendron forest with the magnificent view of Ganesh himal,
Langtang ranges and langtang valley. Route leads us to preservation area for
Red Panda. Tree line of north forest is replaced by scrub vegetation. Next we will be laure Binayak here we can get breathtaking view of far Annapurna
range, Manaslu, Langtang range and some mountains of Tibet boarder . From here
trail climbs to ridge pass water fall of Swarswati kunda and get view of second
Vairabi kunda, Gosai kunda lies northwest. Here several semi frozen lakes are
located to the south. Take magnificent snaps and rest overnight.
Day 11: Trek
through Laurebina pass (4,600 m) to Gopte (3,420 m).
Today early in the
morning we Cross over the Laurebina pass (4,600 m.) and then descend to Gopte
(3,420 m.) walking for 6-7 hours. We have to pass through 4 more lakes and
summit to Laurebina pass; here we can get magical view of Sura kunda and surrounded
country side is splendid. After this
view trail descends to high camp before dropping down central valley Phedi. After
Phedi trail becomes rocky and climb ups and down to several ridges. Next we
descend to rhododendron and pine forest beneath the cliff of Thara Danda and we
will be Gopte which lies on a ridge.Rest overnight.
Day 12: Trek
Gopte to Kutumsang (2,540 m).
Today we trek from Gopte
to Kutumsang (2,540 m) walking for 5-6 hours. Trail continues to rocky ravines
and ascending high windy ridge to the Tharepati. From here trail descend to steeply
way through rhododendron forest. After crossing the forest we climb to Mira
Danda; here we can get the view of langtang peaks to the north and we cross
another valley lead us Bhangyang for last peak view. Trail passes waterfalls
and ridge down through rhododendron and fir forest and farmland and we will be
in Kutumsang. Explore around and rest overnight.
Day 13: Trek
Kutumsang to Chisapani (2,100 m).
We trek from Kutumsang
to Chisapani (2,110 m) walking for 6 hours. Trail climb cliff on the Tamang
village Galphu on a ridge and moves to Thotang and Lapche Danda, from here we
can get the view of Helambu to the south from high ridge. Next we drop forest
and field to the village Chiplung. Next undulates over lower ridge before
climbing to Chisapani; from here we can see the view of mountains. Rest
overnight.
Day 14: Trek
from Chisopani to Sundarijal and then drive to Kathmandu (1,400 m).
Today we trek 4hours from
Chisapani to Sundari jal and then drive back to Kathmandu. Our trail moves through Shivapuri national,
several villages and we will be in Sundarijal. Next, we drive half hour to
reach Kathmandu. There will be the celebration on your last night of your trip and
rest overnight.
Day 15: Final
departure.
Today early in the
morning after breakfast Yarsa treks will transfer you to the airport for your
safe departure. There will be the farewell program before your departure.
