Lobuche East with an altitude of 6,145 meter is one of the challenging trekking peak in Everest region of Nepal. Lobuche Peak lies very close to Khumbu glacier and was used as a warm up climbing for other expeditions. Lobuche East Peak climbing is perfect blend of challenging climb and classic trekking to one of the most beautiful region of world- the Everest region. Summit of Lobuche Peak offers some spectacular close up view of mountains like Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam and Pumori.
First of all you take a scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. From Lukla you will trek up to the Phakding and then to Namche Bazar passing along Dudh Koshi river bank, through rhododendron and giant pine forest. Namchebazar is the major tourist hub in Everest region and also called as Sherpa Capital. From Namche you will trek up to Tengboche where you will get to visit famous monastery of Tengboche the Tengboche monastery. Then crossing the meadows and the Imja Khola Bridge you will reach Dingboche. From Dingboche you will trek up to Lobuche, Goraksheep and then finally to Everest Base Camp. From Everest Base camp you will trek up to Kalapatthar at (5,545 m.) one of the best Mountain View point. From Kalapathar you trek to Lobuche Base camp at 4,950 meter via Lobuche passing through lobuche glacier. From Lobuche Base camp you climb up to Lobuche High Camp at 5,400 meter through rocky moraine path. From the High Camp you will finally climb the summit of Lobuche East. You need to use your climbing gears like crampons, ice axe, climbing ropes, harness, ascender and climbing boots while as you start climbing from Base camp.

Meals:
When you travel to the new place for your holiday, food is most concern part of travel. While, traveling with Yarsa treks, you can experience the delightful cuisine of typical Nepali food, continental food, Italian food, Chinese food and different international cuisine. You will be suggested by your guide for good food during your trip. During the trek do not order many dishes and waste food; they have to cater more trekkers before they run off stuck. It is very hard and takes week or more for caravan and porter to brings the food in these altitude places. You will take lunch in route side, breakfast and dinner will arrange in the same lodge/Tea house.
Drinking Water:
During the trek you can get the bottled water but it is hard to dispose plastic and it will be the big problem for environment. We will provide purified mineral water during trek. In tea house you can get bottle water and mineral water in additional cost. It will better to drink mineral water rather than bottled water.
Accommodations:
We provide you best touristic hotel in Kathmandu with best location. During the trek tea house is main accommodation for trekkers. A tea house is combination of lodge and restaurant. In the tea house lodge are fairly basic, some tea house you can get separate room but in the high altitude rooms are spare with two beds with blanket and little additional furniture. There will be large dining room where you can get the warm by Bukhara stove. In the tea house there will be the solar electricity but these days most of the tea houses have electricity for charge Camera, Mobile phones and other small appliances.
Things to take:
This is very active trip we can’t stay in same place. You can take very light and necessary things. You will get porter he will carry maximum 30 kg it means 2 trekkers=1 porter. Porters are allowed to carry maximum 30 kg of your stuff. Porter will carry your necessary stuff in duffel bag.

Health & Fitness:
Lobuche Peak climbing is not much difficult but you should have good physical, stamina, positive energy for summit. You don’t need huge climbing experience but you need to know the knowledge of climbing equipments. Before the summit there will be the pre-ice climbing training; training will let you know how to use climbing equipments. For Lobuche peak climbing you needs to walk usually 5-7 hours of everyday and 7-8 hours in summit day. So, our advise you that you prepare yourself jogging or walking every day around 2 months before your trip. For Lobuche peak climbing you have to walk in high altitude and remote villages. For successful summit you must have potential will power, physical fitness, stamina and positivity inside you. You need to consult with doctor or let us know about your physical condition before your climbing trip.
Climbing:
During the trip we will provide you an experienced, English speaking and license holder climbing guide. For the main guide, assailant guide and necessary Sherpa crew we need to know your group size then we will define the crew member that you need for the climbing trip. We are concern about your safety so we will arrange the necessary staff and Sherpa for your trip; if anybody becomes ill during the trip we still go as planned. Let you know group should be 2-12 people for the successful climbing trip.
Suitable Time to Trek:
For Trekking to the high altitude we should concern about the weather condition. Autumn (Sept-Nov) and spring (March-May) is the best season for trekking in Himalayas. Trekking in summer and Monsoon (June-Aug) is affected by rain. You can also trek in winter but tempters could be most harsh for most trekkers.

Important notes:
If you’re confused to pack up your necessary things just see in the check list tab. Bring light and necessary things. You will need medium size bag to carry your daily usable stuff. The weather is subject to change in high altitude so layered clothing is recommended throughout the trek.

Day 1: Welcome to Kathmandu valley (1,400 m).
Upon your arrival our airport representative picks you up from airport and transfer to hotel. After getting rest and refreshed visit colorful market in Thamel and rest overnight.
Day 2: Sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley.
Today we arrange full day Sightseeing tour around Kathmandu valley. We will visit oldest temple Swayambhunath, Buddhist sacred place and world biggest stupa Boudhanath and Hindus holy temple Pashupatinath. After visiting heritage site prepare for the trek and rest overnight.
Day 3: Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla (2,860 m) and trek to Monjo (2,835 m).
Today early Morning we take panoramic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla (2850) and then trek to Manjo (2800m). During the flight we can see 18 different mountain and some of them are 8,000 m above. After dramatic landing in the Tenzing-Hillary airport in Lukla we meet our crew (climbing Guide, assistance and other necessary crew), prepare our bag packs and head towards the north. We cross the suspension bridge of Dudh Koshi (Milk River) and walk through the edge of the river. On the way we cross several small villages such as Chhuplun, Koshi Gaun and Ghat. Next we reach green Dudh Koshi Valley Phakding then walk through the Dudh Koshi River to reach Monjo; here your travel document and climbing permit will be checked before inter to Sagarmatha (Everest) National Park. Explore around and rest overnight.
Day 4: Trek from Monjo to Namchebazaar (3,440 m).
Today we trek from Manjo all the way to Namche Bazaar (3,440 m). We walk through Sagarmatha National Park here we can see Thar (mountain goat), Yak and birds. Here we walk through rhododendron and oak forest and gradually steep up to reach Namche Bazaar with the majestic view of Ama Doblam, Khumbila, Everest and other snow capped mountains. Explore around and rest overnight.
Day 5: Acclimatization day in Namch Bazaar.
Today we will spend a day for acclimatize and rest day at Namche. We should be active instead of lazy, you can go cultural village Khumjung or hike to the ridge above the Namche Bazaar for spectacular view of Mahalangur range. After sightseeing around get rest overnight.
Day 6: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3,860 m).
Today early in the morning we trek from Namche Bazar all the way to Tyangboche (3,860 m). We ascend to ridge above the Namche Bazaar and walk through terraced field. We walk through the forest of rhododendron and oak and descend from ridge to cross Dudh Koshi River. After crossing the Dudh Koshi trail ascend through tree line until we reach Tengboche. Explore around and rest overnight.
Day 7: Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche (4,360 m).
Today early in the morning we start our trek from Tyangboche all the way to Dingboche (4,360m). Early in the morning we visit the Tengboche monastery with the pristine view of Himalaya backdrop of monastery. Trail moves through the forest and cross the Bridge of Imjha River here you can feel the change of landscape; one side vegetation and another side alpine. After crossing the bridge walk through alpine to reach Panboche. Next we pass Shomare and walk along the river to reach Dingboche. Explore around and rest overnight.
Day 8: Acclimatization day in Dingboche.
Today exploration day around Dingboche. We visit some viewpoints and take class about climbing. Here you can get the majestic view of Mt. Ama Doblam, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Everest and other snow capped peaks. This day you should active instead of passive. Your guide will teach you how to use climbing tools. Explore around and rest overnight.
Day 9: Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche (4,930 m).
Today early morning we trek from Dingboche all the way to Labuche (4,930 m). We walk through ridge with the towering view of Tawache and Cholatse. Trail goes through wooden bridge and passes Yak grazing. Next we gradually enter to gravely terminal of Khumbu; here we can see gravely moraine of Fish Scott who died in 1996 from Everest disaster. From here we can get the majestic view of Khumbutse, Pumari, Lingtren and other mountains. After an hour walk will lead us to Lobuch. Explore around and rest overnight and rest overnight.
Day 10: Trek from Lobuche to Gorek Shep (5,180 m) and then EBC (5,363 m).
Today we trek from Labuche to Gorekshep (5,180 m) and then to Everest Base Camp (5,365 m). We trek through rocky and windy path to reach Gorekshep. After reaching Gorekshep we gradually walk to EBC. From Everest Base Camp we can get the towering view of Khumbutse and Pumori and see the spectacular view of colorful tents during the climbing season. Next we get back to the Gorekshep and rest overnight.
Day 11: Trek from Gorekshep to Kalapatthar (5,545 m) and back to Lobuche.
Trek from Today early morning hike up to Kalapathar (5545m) and then trek back to Labuche. We trek Kalapatthar early in the morning top see the beautiful sunrise over world highest mountain Everest. From Kalapatthar we can get the stunning view of Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, and Mt. Pumori, and other many snow capped peaks. After majestic view from Kalapatthar we trek back to Gorekshep and walk to reach Lobuche through rocky path. Rest overnight.
Day 12: Trek from Lobuche to High Camp.
Today we trek from Labuche all the way to High camp. We trek to High camp through rocky moraines. It takes 4 hours to reach in High camp. After reaching to High camp our crew will set the camp and can acclimatize exploring around. You climbing guide will teach you about climbing tools and skills. Rest overnight.
Day 13: Summit to Lobuche Peak (6,119 m).
Today we climb to Labuche peak (6,119 m) and then trek back to base camp. We start climbing at 2 or 3 am because we should get back before strong winds blow at the peak. We start climb according to guide’s structure. Lobuche peak offers the spectacular panorama of Everest, Lhotse, Pumori, Lhotse, Ama Doblam, Nuptse, Cholatse and many other highest peaks. After taking some picture from Lobuche peak get back to the High camp and Rest overnight.
Day 14: Reserve day for contingency.
This day is for contingency because weather of high region can be changed. In case we couldn’t able to summit in day 13 due to the bad weather or other reason. If weather get unfavorable or anyone gets problem to acclimatize; the day can be use for that kind of condition. If trip goes gently without any problem we don’t need this day.
Day 15: Trek from High camp to Panboche (3,985 m).
Today we trek from base camp all the way back to Panboche. We trek down from high camp to Lobuche and walk towards Panboche through Pireche and other small villages. We will explore the majestic view in Panboche and rest overnight.
Day 16: Trek from Panboche to Namchebazaar (3,440 m).
Today we trek back to Namche Bazar. We walk and cross the bridge of Imjha Khola and walk through forest of oak and rhododendron to reach Tengboche. Next we leave Tengboche back and descend to cross Dudh Koshi river and ascend through forest, walk through terraced field then descend from ridge above of Namchebazaar. Rest overnight.
Day 17: Trek from Namchebazaar to Lukla (2,860 m).
Today early morning trek from Namche Bazar all the way Back to Lukla. Our trail gradually descend to Dudh Koshi and cross suspension bridge. Next we walk through the Dudh Koshi edge passing several beautiful villages such as Monjo, Phakding, Chheplung and other small Sherpa villages. Next we cross last suspension bridge and walk through rhododendron forest to reach Lukla village. Celebrate your successful climb with your crew in Khumbu region and rest overnight.
Day 18: Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu (1,400 m).
Today an early morning Flight from lukla to Kathmandu. We fly back with the most beautiful memories of Everest region and we will receive you from airport and assist you to hotel. you can go for handicraft shopping in Thamel market. After shopping we will take you for farewell dinner in Nepali restaurant with various cultural shows.
Day 19: Farewell Friends!!!
Today after lunch we assist you to international airport for your final Departure from Nepal. There will be farewell program before your departure. Hope this is not your last time in Nepal. We are always ready to welcome you to explore untouched nature and unique culture.
