Manaslu circuit trek is one of the most popular trekking destination in Manaslu region. This trek is an idyllic trek for those who miss trekking in Annapurna region during its golden age. This region is not crowded as other popular trekking destination. This route offers the most spectacular view of peaks over (6,500 m /21,300 ft), and over (7,000 m /23,000 ft.) like Annapurna, Manaslu (8,156 m/26,759 ft), Dhaulagiri (8,167 m/26,795 ft), Ngadi Chuli (7,871 m/25,823 ft), Hiunchuli (6,441 m/21,130 ft), Ganesh Himal(7,422 m/24,350 ft) and many other peaks. The highlights of the Manaslu circuit trek are experiencing the ancient rich tradition and culture of Tibetan, visiting ancient Gompas, passing Larkya- La pass (5,105 m.), close up view of the Manaslu glacier from Manaslu base camp, spectacular mountain view, scenic villages and farmlands, deep gorge and fissures and many more. Tsum valley is another famous trekking destination in Manaslu region.

Manaslu circuit trekking route open in 1992 for trekker. This route is surrounded of world’s eight highest Manaslu Himalaya (8,156 m). Route offers geographical barriers, hiking villages, ancient civilization, dense forest and many more. This route is rich in culture of Gurung and Tibetan. We can see culture and lifestyle of high region people. Word Manaslu came from Sanskrit; which means soul and this Himalaya also known as mountain of spirit. Trekking around Manaslu is one of the delightful adventures. Pass traditional villages, rivers, bloom rhododendron forests and spectacular view of mountain peaks from very close. Walking through Larkya La Pass (5,125 m) which is highest point of Manaslu circuit trek.

Manaslu region trek starts from Aarughat after you take a bus from Kathmandu to Gorkha and Gorkha to Aarughat and ends at Besisahar. Manaslu circuit trekking route passes through authentic Hindu and Tibetan villages, picturesque farmland, Yak pastures, Mani walls, chortens, ancient monasteries, high passes, deep gorge and fissures of Marsyangdi River. As you trek up passing through the terraced mountain meadows and villages, forests of pine the trail opens up to the alpine meadows with small patch of Tibetan village Samagaon on the foot of Himalayas. From the village you will head west crossing Larkya- La pass. The route is classic and tough enough which links Budhi Gandaki River with Marsyangdi River. You will then descend down through alpine meadows, passing through the village of Bimtang you will join Annapurna Circuit trekking route. From there you will further trek down to Beshisahar. To complete this trekking you should have average health and good physical condition.

Day 07: Trek to Namrung (2,580 m).~ 6-7 hours

Day 08: Trek to Samagaon (3,480 m).~ 6-7 hours

Day 10: Trek to Samdo (3,865 m).~ 3-4 hours

Meals:
When you travel to the new place for your holiday, food is most concern part of travel. While, traveling with Yarsa treks, you can experience the delightful cuisine of typical Nepali food, continental food, Italian food, Chinese food and different international cuisine. You will be suggested by your guide for good food during your trip. During the trek do not order many dishes and waste food, they have to cater more trekkers before they run off stuck. It is very hard and takes week or more for caravan and porter to brings the food in these places. You will take lunch in route side, breakfast and dinner will arrange in the same lodge/Tea house.

Drinking Water:
During the trek you can get the bottled water but it is hard to dispose plastic and it will be the big problem for environment. We will provide purified mineral water during trek. In tea house you can get bottle water and mineral water in additional cost. It will better to drink mineral water rather than bottled water.

Accommodations:
We provide you best touristic hotel in Kathmandu/Pokhara with best location. During the trek tea house is main accommodation for trekkers. A tea house is combination of lodge and restaurant. In the tea house lodge are fairly basic, some tea house you can get separate room but in the high altitude rooms are spare with two beds with blanket and little additional furniture.  There will be large dining room where you can get the warm by Bukhara stove. In the tea house there will be the solar electricity but these days most of the tea houses have electricity for charge Camera, Mobile phones and other small appliances.

Things to take:
This is very active trip we can’t stay in same place. You can take very light and necessary things. You will get porter he will carry 30 kg it means 2 trekkers=1 porter. Porters are allowed to carry 30 kg of your stuff. Porter will carry your necessary stuff in duffel bag.

Health & Fitness:
These treks are some of moderate and some of strenuous, passionate trekkers should have ability to walk for 4-7 hours a day. Trekking to the high altitude is more challenging than the low altitude. To complete the trip we have good health, average physical fitness, passionate, confidence, determination and positive attitude. If you have past hiking experience or exercising habits it will be the better for your trek. If you have pre-existing health problem such as lung, heart and other diseases it is better to consult with your doctor or inform Yarsa treks before booking the trip.

Suitable Time to Trek:
For Trekking to the high altitude we should concern about the weather condition. Autumn (Sept-Nov) and spring (March-May) is the best season for trekking in Himalayas. Trekking in summer and Monsoon (June-Aug) is affected by rain. You can also trek in winter but tempters could be most harsh for most trekkers.

Important Notes:

Day 01: Welcome to Kathmandu (1,400 m).
Upon your arrival we assist you from international airport to our hotel. After getting rest and refreshed we will take you to nepal dinner with various cultural shows and rest overnight.

Day 02: Full sightseeing day in Kathmandu valley.
Today we provide you a guided tour over Kathmandu valley to visit the cultural heritage sites and sightseeing spot. We will visit UNESCO world heritage sites; hindus holy temple Pashupatinath, biggest stupa of Nepal Boudhanath, 2000 years old Swayambhunath, Bashantapur darbar square, Patan darbar square and Prepare for the trek and rest overnight.

Day 03: Drive Kathmandu to Arughat (550 m) to Soti Khola (597 m).
Today early in the morning a 126 km (5-6hours) drive from Kathmandu all the way to Arughat (550 m) and then diver for 30min till Soti khola (597 m). On the way we fallow the prithivi highway along the Trishuli river edge; which is famous river for rafting. We leave Prithivi high way in Malakhu (is famous for fish of Trishuli River) and fallow the Dhadingbesi highway to reach Arught. From arughtt we take 30 min drive to reach our trekking point Soti Khola and rest overnight.

Day 04: Trek from Soti khola to Machha khola (825 m).
Today we trek from Soti khola walking for 6hours all the way to Machhakhola (825 m). we start our trail crossing bridge and walk through Sal forest. Further we climb ridge on Budi Gandaki to reach Khursane and rocky trail goes up and down to pass trophical waterfalls. Eventually pass rice terraces then we will in Labubesi. After Lububesi trail drops to Sandy River, short walk on the ridge and cross the suspension bridge to reach Machha Khola and rest overnight at Machha Khola.

Day 05: Trek Machha khola to Jagat (1,330 m).
Today we trek from Machhakhola walking for 6-7hours all the way to Jagat (1,330 m). we start our trail start minor ups and down and cross the Tharo Khola and we will reach Khorlabari, after few walk we here momes a small hot spring Tatopani and trail climb up then cross Budigandaki river. Now we climb stair, crosses landside and walk ridge to Dobhan. After Dobhan we will cross Yaru Khola. Next we climb stairs to Tharo Bharyang, crossing the Budigandaki and walk along the Budigandaki river to reach Jagat. If we got time we will explore around and rest overnight.

Day 06: Trek from Jagat to Deng (1,860 m).
Today we trek from Jagat walking for 6-7hours all the way to Deng (1,860 m). After short brief about route and safety we start trekking by climbing to the rocky ridge of Salleri, and descend to Sirdibas. Trail continues to up to Ghatta khola and walk to upstream and cross long suspension bridge in large Gurung village Philim. After few walk; route enter to the gorge, descend to grassy land, crosses the bridge of Budigandaki, walk through both side edge of Budigandai river and after crossing Deng Khola we will reach our today’s destination point small Deng village and rest overnight.

Day 07: Trek from Deng to Namrung (2,580 m).
Today we trek from Deng walking for 6-7hours all the way to Namrung (2,580 m). After short brief about route and safety we will cross Budigandaki river to climb Rana . After Rana we will reach Budigandaki valley and pass forest and Mani wall. There is another route to Prok village; from here we can see the magnificent view of Siring himal. After vew point we will cross Budigandaki several times, crosses Gompa, then tral fallows the dense forest. After crossing river, where it thunders a narrow gorge; we can see the forest less dense. Next pleasant walk we will reach Namrung. Explore around and rest overnight.

Day 08: Trek from Namrung to Samagaon (3,480 m).
Today we trek from Namrung walking for 6hours all the way to Samagaon (3,480 m). From the Namrung village we can get the specular view of Siring, Ganesh himal and Hiunchuli to the south. Our trail start through forest to reach Lichi; here we can see the lots of chortens and terraces fields. After Lichi trail descend and crosses the valley of Siring and Ganesh himal. Next we cross some places such as Sho, Lho, Shyala and we will reach Sama village and rest overnight.

Day 09: Acclimatization day at Samagaon (3,480 m).
We walk to see the stunning Birendra Tal and fascinating Manaslu base camp. We are in the center of Sherpa culture; enjoy exploring Mani stones, Sherpa traditional custom, Buddhist texts and ornaments. Here is old Gompa (Pungyen Gompa). We will go for the hike to Manaslu base camp and birendre tal which are near from each other here we can get the magnificent view of Himalayas around us. After exploring these places we walk back to Samagaon and rest overnight.

Day 10: Trek from Samagaon to Samdo (3,865 m).
Today we trek from Samagaon walking for 3-4hours all the way to Samdo (3,865 m). Trail start descends to Budigandaki and moves through the Manaslu base camp, Larkya la trail, passes Mani wall and valley begins to wide. Now it’s easy to on shelf above the river and walk through brich and juniper forest in Kermo kharka. Next drop and cross Budigandaki from wooden bridge. Next we pass through Kani to meet Samdo and rest overnight.

Day 11: Trek Samdo to Dharmasala (4,470 m).
Today we trek from Samdo walking for 5hours all the way to Dharamsala/ Larke Phedi (4,470 m).  Trail moves along river edge, crosses wooden bridge over Budigandaki . After crossing streams we come over close view of Larkya glacier and walk through Valley of Salka River and climb up to the stone house which have shelter facility known as Dharmasala and rest overnight.

Day 12: Trek from Dharmasala/ Larke Phedi to  Bimthang (3,740 m) via Larke La Pass (5,125 m).
Today early in the morning we trek for 8-10hours from Larke Phedi passing through Larke la pass (5,125 m) all the way to Bimtang (3,740 m). after short walk will lead us to valley of Larkya Glacier. From her we can get magnigicent view of Cho Danda and Larkya peak. We walk through morains of glacier and ascend .  after ascend we will in Larkya pass; here we can get the spectacular view of Himlung himal, Cheo himal, Kanguru and giant annapurna II. Walking on pasture in evening mist coming with Manaslu lokking  close by overwhelming experience. Next we will be Bimthang and rest overnight.

Day 13: Trek Bimthang to Tilije (2,255 m).
Today we trek from Bimtang walking for 6hours all the way to Tilije (2,255 m). We walk through the ridge with the view of Manaslu, Lamjung himal, Himlung himal, Cheo himal, and many other peaks. Trail descends and cross pasture by bridge of Dudh Khola. Next we walk through rhododendron forest through narrow valley until we reach highest cultivated land  Karche and few walk after we will be Tilije and rest overnight.

Day 14: Trek from Tilije to Chamje (1,430 m).
Today we trek from Tiliche walking for 5-6hours all the way down till Chamje. Here we meet the route of Annapurna circuit trek. We pass through rhododendron forest different small villages and viewpoints. On the way we can see the amazing view of Annapurna range, Manaslu, and many other peaks. Next we will be in Chamje.

Day 15: Trek from Chamje to Nagdi Phedi (850 m).
Today we trek from Chamje walking for 6hours all the way to Ngadi Phedi. We walk through different settlement of Gurung community we can see their culture and costume. We cross dense forest and we will be in Ngadi phedi and rest overnight.

Day 16: Trek Nagdi Phedi to Besisahar (823 m).
Today early in the morning we ascend down from Ngadi Phedi walking for 4hours all the way to Besisahar and then drive all the way back to Kathmandu. Rest overnight.

Day 17: Final Departure.
Today after lunch Yarsa treks will  assist you to international airport for your safe and final departure. There will be farewell program before your departure.
