Mohare Danda trek is known as alternative trajectory of Poon hill and encounters the mesmerizing view of mountain. It is the unspoiled blend of trekking and traditional habitats, which can be the opportunity to observe untouched culture of Magar community. If we outweigh with the Poon hill trek it has to more quality of natural surroundings which it proves with 3,300 meters elevation more than Poonhill. It is known one of the short off the beaten trekking path with dense rhododendron forest in Annapurna region. You can grab the perfect outlook of Dhaulagiri (8,167 m) ranges and Annapurna (8,091 m) ranges. This peaceful trekking path encounters several local communities and lead us to the destination. Firstly, we will drive to Pokhara which is known as tourist hub then drive to Goleshowar to experience the small town of Kaligandaki river gorge. Next, our trekking trail encounter Baskharka (Home stay), Nagi village which is the birthplace of Mahabir Pun (Scientist who is connecting remote places with free internet service). After, Nagi village our trail moves with the stunning view of Dhaulagir, Nilgiri, Annapurna range and other mountains. Now, we will encounter the Mohare Danda (3,300 m) with the Majestic Mountain, Poon hill as well as Phewa lake in Pokhara. After visiting Mohare hill we will hike to Tikot village, Chipling village and drive to Pokhara to Kathmandu. It is assure that, you will be pleased with the satisfaction of this trekking endpoint.
Outline Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival day in Kathmandu (1,400 m).
Day 02: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (835 m).
Day 03: Drive from Pokhara to Galeshowar and trek to Baskharka (1525 m).
Day 04: Trek from Baskharka to Nagi village (2300 m).
Day 05: Trek from Nagi village to Mohare Danda (3300 m).
Day 06: Trek from Mohare Danda to Tikot (2300 m).
Day 07: Trek from Tikot to Tiplyang and drive to Pokhara.
Day 08: Drive/fly from Pokhara to Kathmandu.
Day 09: Final departure.

Meals:
When you travel to the new place for your holiday, food is the most concerned part of travel. While, traveling with Yarsa treks, you can experience the delightful cuisine of typical Nepali food, continental food, Italian food, Chinese food and different international cuisines. You will be suggested by your guide for good food during your trip. During the trek do not order many dishes and waste food as they have to cater to more trekkers before they run off stock. It is very hard and takes a week or more for caravan and porters to bring the food in these places. You will take lunch in route side, breakfast and dinner will be arranged in the same lodge/Tea house.
Drinking Water:
During the trek you can get the bottled water but it is hard to dispose plastic and it will be the big problem for environment. We will provide purified mineral water during trek. In tea houses you can get bottled water and mineral water in additional cost. It will be better to drink mineral water rather than bottled water.
Accommodations:
We provide you best touristic hotel in Kathmandu/Pokhara with best location. During the trek tea house is main accommodation for trekkers. A tea house is combination of lodge and restaurant. In the tea house lodges are fairly basic, in some tea houses you can get separate room but in the high altitude rooms are spared with two beds with blankets and little additional furniture. There will be large dining room where you can get the warmth by Bukhara stove. In the tea houses there will be solar electricity but these days most of the tea houses have electricity for charging camera, mobile phones and other small appliances.
This is very active trip we can’t stay in same place. You can take very light and necessary things. You will get a porter who will carry 30 kg which means 2 trekkers=1 porter. Porters are allowed to carry 30 kg of your stuff. Porters will carry your necessary stuff in a duffel bag.

Health & Fitness:
These treks are some of moderate and some of strenuous type.Passionate trekkers should have ability to walk for 4-7 hours a day. Trekking to the high altitude is more challenging than the low altitude. To complete the trip we should have good health, average physical fitness, passion, confidence, determination and positive attitude. If you have past hiking experience or exercising habits it will be the better for your trek. If you have pre-existing health problems such as lungs, heart and other diseases, it is better to consult with your doctor or inform Yarsa treks before booking the trip.
Suitable Time to Trek:
For trekking to the high altitude we should concern about the weather condition. Autumn (Sept-Nov) and Spring (March-May) are the best seasons for trekking in Himalayas. Trekking in Summer and Monsoon (June-Aug) is affected by rain. You can also trek in winter but temperatures could be harsher for most trekkers.

Important Notes:
If you’re confused to pack up your necessary things just see in the check list tab. Bring light and necessary things. You will need medium size bag to carry your daily usable stuff. The weather is subject to change in high altitude so layered clothing is recommended throughout the trek.

Day 01: Arrival day in Kathmandu (1,400 m).
Our representative will receive you from Tribhuwan international airport and drive you to the hotel. After refresh you will brief by your guide about tomorrow preparation. Rest overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 02: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (835 m).
After breakfast we will drive to Pokhara through Prithivi highway. We will drive along side of Trishuli river until Mungling then turn south to reach Pokhara. You will be delighted with the beauty city with the fascinating lakeside. Your guide will leads you to explore Phew lake side and walk back to hotel for overnight.
Day 03: Drive from Pokhara to Galeshowar and trek to Baskharka (1525 m).
Today morning we will prepare our bag pack in order to trek t Baskharka. We will catch Baglung highway to reach Beni then follow Kaligandaki gorge to reach Goleshowar. After lunch in Galeshowar we will trek towards Ghumaune to cross the Kaligandaki river. Next, we will ascend through forest and villages of Magar communities until Baskharka. Explore around and fell relax with the view of sunset over Dhaulagiri (8167 m). Rest overnight at community home stay.
Day 04: Trek from Baskharka to Nagi village (2300 m).
We will start our trail after having breakfast then walk through forest until reach to the small village. Next, we will pass several village and you can see the traditional costume and culture of local people. We can explore around community and rest overnight at Nagi village.
Day 05: Trek from Nagi village to Mohare Danda (3300 m).
Early we will prepare and trek after breakfast to reach our trekking point in 3300 elevation. During our trail you will encounter the mountain view and its ranges with the peaceful environment. You will trek with the sound of bird chirping which fully connects you to the nature, you will meet the different people from untouched culture. Next, we will reach in Mohare Danda and rest overnight at community lodge.
Day 06: Trek from Mohare Danda to Tikot (2300 m).
Today is our special day for the phenomenal view of sunrise over Dhaulagiri ranges and Annapurna ranges which could be the lifetime experience of the perfect timing in specific spot. After stunning view we will trek to Tikot and ascend from the ridge with the stunning view. Next, we will pass forest and Magar village to reach Tikot. Rest overnight at Tikot.
Day 07: Trek from Tikot to Tiplyang and drive to Pokhara.
Today is our last trekking os this region we will walk for 3 hours and drive to Pokhara through Galeshowar, Beni, Kusma to reach Pokhara. You can relax and explore night life in Pokhara. Rest overnight.
Day 08: Drive/fly from Pokhara to Kathmandu.
After breakfast we will drive /fly to Kathmandu. If you have time you can visit Thamel market for shopping. Rest overnight at Kathmandu.
Day 09: Final departure.
Now today is the time to separate us and our representative will drive you to airport for your final departure.
