Previous ruled by kingdom. On the 28th May 2008, the constituent assembly voted in overwhelming favour of abolishing the Monarchy in Nepal. Nepal has been proclaimed a “Federal Republic State” to be known as the “Democratic Republic of Nepal”. Nepal’s first president Ram Baran Yadav was chosen by parliament. Today governed by constution of Nepal, which came in 20sept 2015 by replacing the antarim constution of 2007. This constitution endorsed by 90% of law makers and announced by first president Ram Baran Yadav.

Nepal is located in south Asia neighbour boarder with north with China and (south, east and west) with India. It has 147,181 square kilometers areas. According to geographical Nepal is divided in to three section such as Himal, Pahaad(hill side), and Terai. Kathmandu is the capital city of Nepal which is known as city of temple, every 20-30 meter there is temple. In the city here are world heritage sites; Hindus holy places Pashupatinath temple, swayambhunath known as monkey temple, Boudhanath temle, Kathmandu darbar square, patan darbar square, bhaktapur darbar square and many famous temples which are made in PAGODA architecture. Pokhara is also the most beautiful city of Nepal which is located 141 kilometers away in south from the capital city. For tourist without visiting Pokhara is like curry without salt. Pokhara is known as city of lake, there are seven lakes including Phewa Lake. Among them Begnash lake is opened for fishery project. From world peace pagoda we can see magnificent view of Pokhara valley with Phewa Lake, Annapurna Himalayan range and mirroring view of fishtail over Phewa Lake. There are some of famous cave such as Mahindra cave and Chamary cave and other many beautiful places.

Iconic Himalayas are the main attraction in Nepal. In the world there is 14 Himalayas peaks above 8000 meters among them 8 are located in Nepal. In Nepal 240 Himalayas peaks are more than 6000 meters. World’s highest Himalaya Mt. Everest located in Nepal which has 8848 meters height.

Trekking is the best way to explore beauty of Nepal, because more than 70% people lives in village areas. In Nepal we can see some of rare animals and birds such as one horn rhino, tiger, snow leopard, red panda, musk deer, mountain goat(Thar), yak, pheasant Dhape, Kade vackur (we can see only in Nepal) and many more. In these dense forests there are many herbs which are used to make medicine.

Nepal is very rich in culture and festivals. Here are different cultural values according to their ethnic and place. Their culture and religion are known by their costume and languages. In Nepal there are many religious festivals. Most of the festival linked with the different seasons, remembrance of departed soul, mark of the national festival and agricultural cycle. Most important aspect of Nepal culture is religious understanding prevailing among Hindus and Buddhist.
