Kalapathar is the best Mountain View point in Everest region. Kalapatthar offers spectacular view of Everest (8,848 m), Cho Oyu (8,152 m), Lhotse (8,516 m), Makalu (8463 m) Thamserku (6,506 m), Ama Dablam (6,456 m) and other snowcapped peaks. Trekking in Everest region is the most exciting and adventurous for trekkers who seek to see the majestic view of Himalayas and experience the culture of Sherpa land. Sherpas are the friendliest people and their culture is unique and untouched. En route you will visit famous monasteries of Tengboche and many other ancient monasteries. While trekking, you will see many yaks grazing in the meadows. In Everest region most of the places are located inside the Sagarmatha (Everest) national park so trekking route moves through the dense forest of national park, where we can see the different rare species of high altitude. Phaplu Everest Base camp trek follows the same trail as other trekking destinations in Everest except the trekking starts from Phaplu itself rather than from Jiri or Lukla.
During Phaplu Everest base camp trek trail moves through Khari Khola, Paiya, Phakding, Namchebazar, Tengboche (famous monastery where once Tenzing Sherpa committed to become monk) Dingboche, Lobuche, Gorekshep, visit Everest base camp and destination point of our trekking Kalapatthar (5,545 m). After visiting some wonderland of Everest region trail descends all the way to Lukla(2,860 m) and you will fly back to Kathmandu.
