Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu.

Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu.

Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (1600 m).

Day 04: Trek from Syabrubesi to Gatlang village (2238 m).

Day 05: Trek from Gatlang to Tatopani (2600 m).

Day 06: Trek from Tatopani to Thuman (2400 m).

Day 07: Trek from Thuman to Bhriddim (2350 m).

Day 08: Trek from Bhriddim to Lama hotel (2480 m).

Day 09: Trek from Lama Hotel to Langtang village (3500 m).

Day 10: Trek from Langtang to Kyanjin Gumba (3900 m). 

Day 11: Trek from Kyanjin Gumba to Lama Hotel (2480 m).

Day 12: Trek from Lama Hotel to Syabrubesi (1600 m).

Day 13: Drive from Syabrubesi to Kathmandu (1400 m).

Day 14: Final Departure. 

More Information

Meals:
When you travel to the new place for your holiday, food is the most  concerned part of travel. While, traveling with Yarsa treks, you can experience the delightful cuisine of typical Nepali food, continental food, Italian food, Chinese food and different international cuisines. You will be suggested by your guide for good food during your trip. During the trek do not order many dishes and waste food as they have to cater to more trekkers before they run off stock. It is very hard and takes a week or more for caravan and porters to bring the food in these places. You will take lunch in route side, breakfast and dinner will be arranged in the same lodge/Tea house.

Drinking Water:
During the trek you can get the bottled water but it is hard to dispose plastic and it will be the big problem for environment. We will provide purified mineral water during trek. In tea houses you can get bottled water and mineral water in additional cost. It will be better to drink mineral water rather than bottled water.

Accommodations:
We provide you best touristic hotel in Kathmandu/Pokhara with best location. During the trek tea house is main accommodation for trekkers. A tea house is combination of lodge and restaurant. In the tea house lodges are fairly basic, in some tea houses you can get separate room but in the high altitude rooms are spared with two beds with blankets and little additional furniture.  There will be large dining room where you can get the warmth by Bukhara stove. In the tea houses there will be solar electricity but these days most of the tea houses have electricity for charging camera, mobile phones and other small appliances.

Things to take:

This is very active trip we can’t stay in same place. You can take very light and necessary things. You will get a porter who  will carry 30 kg which means 2 trekkers=1 porter. Porters are allowed to carry 30 kg of your stuff. Porters will carry your necessary stuff in a duffel bag.

Health & Fitness:
These treks are some of moderate and some of strenuous type.Passionate trekkers should have ability to walk for 4-7 hours a day. Trekking to the high altitude is more challenging than the low altitude. To complete the trip we should have good health, average physical fitness, passion, confidence, determination and positive attitude. If you have past hiking experience or exercising habits it will be the better for your trek. If you have pre-existing health problems such as lungs, heart and other diseases, it is better to consult with your doctor or inform Yarsa treks before booking the trip.

Suitable Time to Trek:
For trekking to the high altitude we should concern about the weather condition. Autumn (Sept-Nov) and Spring (March-May) are the best seasons for trekking in Himalayas. Trekking in Summer and Monsoon (June-Aug) is affected by rain. You can also trek in winter but temperatures could be  harsher for most trekkers.

Important Notes:
If you’re confused to pack up your necessary things just see in the check list tab. Bring light and necessary things. You will need medium size bag to carry your daily usable stuff. The weather is subject to change in high altitude so layered clothing is recommended throughout the trek.

Day 01: Arrival day in Kathmandu.
Our representative will receive you and take you to the hotel. Rest overnight

Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu valley.
Today we will move for half day sightseeing and prepare for trekking. During sightseeing we will visit Pashupati temple, Boudhanath and swayambhu. Rest overnight at hotel.

Day 03:Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (1,610 m).
Today early morning drive from Kathmandu to Sybrubesi. The road continues to this beautiful village at the foot of the mountains where your journey begins. Overnight at a local lodge.

Day 04:Trek from Syabrubesi to Gatlang (2,238 m) via view point.
We start after an early breakfast on this experience rich trek. After an hour and half of ascent from Sybrubesi we reach the view point from where we can see the fantastic view of Ganesh Himal, Gosainkunda range and the Goljang valley. Rest overnight.

Day 05:Trek from Gatlang to Tatopani (2,607 m).
Today we start our trek after an early breakfast on this experience rich trek. After an hour and half of ascent from Sybrubesi we reach the view point from where we can see the fantastic view of Ganesh Himal, Gosainkunda range and the Goljang valley. Rest overnight at Tatopani.

Day 06:Trek from Tatopani to Thuman (2,338 m).
Today we trek ascending to Nagthali Danda at 3300 m. One can enjoy the view and spend some time at the top accompanied by tea prepared by the care taker of the Gompa. Trek continues down to Thuman. Rest overnight.

Day 07:Trek from Thuman to Briddim (2,239 m).
Trail descend t and we will have lunch at Timure. This is the old trade route to Tibet. Tibet boarder is 3 hours walk away from Timure. After lunch we walk to reach another Tamang village Briddim.  In Briddim we stay at home stay accommodation where we will intimate with family and have dinner with family. During the home stay you will have local food such as plain rice, Tibetan bread, Syakpa (Sherpa stew), Tibetan tea, local brew etc. Host family will take care of your all activities in as like you are close familiar member. Here you can get the opportunity to intimate with local Tamang people. You can experience their lifestyle, culture, custom, traditional songs and dances. Explore around and rest overnight.

Day 08:Trek from Briddim to Lama Hotel.
After breakfast, the trek to Lama hotel with spectacular mountain view. We will trek through dense forest to reach Lama Hotel. Explore around and rest overnight at Syabrubesi.

Day 09: Today we trek from Lama Hotel to Langtang village (3,541 m).
After short brief about route and safety, we walk for 5 to 6 hour to reach Langtang village. Firstly Trail climb up through dense forest to reach villages. From here we start climbing up to the high altitude. In high altitude we can’t see tall tree line. Here in high altitude Himalayan views are ready to welcome you. From here we can see spectacular view of langtang lirung (7,227 m.). Next, we pass Ghodatabela (3,030 m.), Chyamki village (3,230 m) and we cross through prayer wheels mani walls chortens to reach langtang village and rest overnight.

Day 10: Today we trek from Langtang village to Kyanjing Gompa (3900 m).
Today we trek for 2-3 hours all the way to Kyanjing  Gompa (3,900 m.). After short brief about route and safety, We start trek to Kyanjing  Gompa. Leaving the tree line behind, ascend and descend will leads us to Mani wall (biggest mani wall of Nepal) and yak posture. This is Trans Himalaya route from ancient period. From here short walk will bring us kyanjing.  rest overnight.

Day 11: Early hike to Kyanji ri (4,770 m) and trek down to Lama Hotel (2,480 m).
Today early we will hike to Kyanjin ri and trek back to lama hotel via Langtang village, dense forest and crossing suspension bridge. If we are lucky we can see the red panda, rhesus monkey and Thar,From edge of  the Langtang river we descend to lama hotel and rest overnight.

Day 12: Today we trek from lama hotel to Syabrubesi.
Today we walk down for 5 hours to reach Syabru besi. After leaving the natural beauty of Langtang region we will reach Syabrubesi and explore half day in Syabru besi. Rest overnight.

Day 13: Today after breakfast we drive back to Kathmandu (1,400 m).
Today after breakfast we drive back to Kathmandu. We will have lunch in Tirshuli and drive back through different place to reach Kathmandu. If you got time you can visit Kathmandu for half day.

Day 14: final departure.
After lunch yarsa treks will transfer you to the international airport for your final departure.
