Tibet cultural overland tour is a cultural tour around the fascinating and beautiful places of Tibet and Nepal. This unique tour takes you to Tibet- a land so rich in culture, tradition and soaked in religion along the far-flung unique landscape suitably called the roof of the world. Tibet overland tour offers you to visit some of the famous cultural places around Tibet and majestic view of snowcapped mountains. Firstly this tour offers you with fascinating views of the unbelievable formation of the highest plateau of the world with impressively beautiful rocks, waterfalls and gorges slightly hidden in the thin flying fogs among the mighty occurrence of Mt. Xishapagma (8028m.) and then we let you explore close to the Shangri-La of Tibet making you feel yourself as being a part of unique culture, a rich embroidery interlaced with legends, myths, rituals and festivals.
Tibet cultural overland tour starts with a scenic 6hours drive from Kathmandu to Zhangmu fascinating Tibetan town. We experience the presence of beautiful landscape and high panorama view along with determined culture and religion of highlanders. On our way we visit some of the famous town and villages with different fascinating culture and festival going on. We also encounters with the warm and charming people of Tibet who follows Buddhism and ancient culture of Tibet. Day 01: Welcome to Kathmandu (1400 m).
Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley.
Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Zhangmu (2,300 m).~ 6 hours drive
Day 04: Drive from Zhangmu to New Taingri (4,050 m).~ 5-6 hours drive
Day 05: Drive from New Taingri to Shigatse (3,900 m).~ 5 hours
Day 06: Drive from Shigatse to Gyangatse (3,650 m).~ 4-5 hours
Day 07: Drive from Gayangatse to Lhasa (3,650 m).~ 7-8 hours drive
Day 08: Sightseeing in and around Lhasa.
Day 09: Another acclimatization day around Lhasa.
Day 10: Fly from Lhasa City to Kathmandu.~ Scenic flight for 1 and half hour

Meals:
When you travel to the new place for your holiday, food is concern part of travel. While, traveling with Yarsa treks, you can experience the delightful cuisine of typical Tibetan food, continental food, Italian food, Chinese food and different international cuisine. You will be suggested by your guide for good food during your trip. During the trip sometimes you have to take your lunch/breakfast on the way but we will provide you good and healthy food. During the tour, it is easy to get varieties of dishes according to your order.
Drinking Water:
During the tour you can get the bottled water but you have to dispose plastic bottles in dustbins. You can get the purified drinking water in your hotel and restaurants.
Accommodations:
We provide you 3 star hotel in Kathmandu/Lhasa with best location. During the tour we provide you hotel/resort with BB plan. In the Hillside we will provide you touristic hotel with best view from balcony.
Health & Fitness:
For tour package you don’t need good physical condition because you don’t need to walk. Anyone can come for tour package because private Car/Bus will lead you to the destination. If your health condition gone worse you can get the immediate medical treatments.
Suitable Time to Trek:
For tour you can travel any season of the year but during the monsoon heavy rain may be the problem and you couldn’t get the Himalayan view from hillsides. Accept monsoon you are welcome in any season for tour package in Tibet.

If you’re confused to pack up your necessary things just see in the check list tab. Bring light and necessary things. You will need medium size bag to carry your daily usable stuff.

Day 01: Welcome to Kathmandu (1400 m).
Upon your arrival we assist you from airport to hotel. After getting rest and refreshed we take you for dinner in Nepali restaurant with cultural shows. Rest overnight.
Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley.
Today we provide you a guided tour around Kathmandu valley. We visit famous sightseeing and cultural heritage places. Prepare for the trek and rest overnight.
Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Zhangmu (2,300 m).
Today we drive for 6hours from Kathmandu all the way to Zhangmu (2,300 m). We drive through Dolalghat and drive through gorge of Bhote Koshi. Next, we will cross the border. In border your travel documents will be checked and do not carry restricted things. Explore around and rest overnight.
Day 04: Drive from Zhangmu to New Taingri (4,050 m).
Today we drive for 5-6hours from Zhangmu all the way to Xegar/New Tingri (4050 m). We dive uphill to the highest plateau of the world with the typical view of Tibetan landscape. Next we reach New Tingri and rest overnight.
Day 05: Drive from New Taingri to Shigatse (3,900 m).
Today we drive for 5hours from Xegar to Shigatse (3900m.). On the way the road reaches an altitude of (5220 m.) at Jia Tsuo La (Lhakpa La). Next, we will reach Shigatse. Explore around and rest overnight.
Day 06: Drive from Shigatse to Gyangatse (3,650 m).
Today early in the morning we drive for 4hours from Shigatse all the way to Gyangtse (3950 m). we pass beautiful city and reach another city Gayngatse. Explore around and rest overnight.
Day 07: Drive from Gayangatse to Lhasa (3,650 m).
Today we drive for 8hours from Gyangtse all the way to Lhasa (3650 m). we drive to reach biggest and cultural city of Tibet. We pass different monasteries, small town to reach Lhasa city. Explore around and rest overnight.
Day 08: Sightseeing in and around Lhasa.
Today we visit Potala Palace, Norbulingka Palace the old summer palace of the Dalai Lama, Jorkhang and surrounding Barkhor market. Explore around Lhasa and its famous destination. Rest overnight.
Day 09: Another acclimatization day around Lhasa.
Explore the sightseeing and cultural places around. Today we drive 2 km from Lhasa to visit one of the largest monastery where more than 5000 monk were resides. We visit other beautiful monasteries such as Drepung monastery, Barkhor monastery and visit local market for shopping. After exploring monasteries and market we drive back to hotel and rest overnight. Enjoy local cultural program and rest overnight.
Day 10: Fly from Lhasa City to Kathmandu.
Today early in the morning we drive from Lhasa city to Gonkar airport and then fly a scenic flight all the way back to Kathmandu. Rest overnight.
Day 11: Farewell friends!!!
Today we assist you to Kathmandu international airport for your final departure.
